Fabulous overall ,BUT…..

I have owned many new cars over the last fifty years. My Equus has been a great performer ,similar to my 2000 740i . The ride and highway handling reminds me of the Towncars I drove during the nineties. But small issues with minor broken plastic parts have been amazingly expensive to restore . I am confident Hyundai will sort this out. I want to continue being a raving fan.

Great car!

I enjoy the car very much & feel very safe in it, very comfortable and I thinks it is a very great value for the money. I own it since 2016 & do my regular service & never had a problem. This is a car that is very well built & reliable

Excellent automobile

Superb auto. I have owned Mercedes S Class for years, but this is a far better value. Better features and interior, with appealing design and performance. I have grave impressions of the dealership which is in need of a major renovation.

A very good car, plenty of power and comfort.

This is my second Equus. I had an 2013 which died because of a collision due to water skidding. The 2016 model has improved suspension and noise insulation. Lacks cell phone applications. More modern cars from Hyundai have this feature, but the Equus no longer exists. Drove a Genesis G80 but although it does have lane feedback, the car is a far cry from the Equus in power, comfort and drivability.

2016 Equus review

I love driving the car. It is probably the nicest vehicle I have owned. It has a lot of power (429 HP) yet the fuel mileage is really good. It is also very quiet. It is a beautiful car and I look forward to driving it.

Equus

The Equis is one of the best driving and handling vehicle I've owned in many many years. I just came back from a trip to New York I love driving the car. It is very comfortable and I have probably sold a dozen or more Genesis from the score for Hyundai.

Luxury

Equus is spacious with power. I had MBZ 600 previously and Equus is no different in comfort and power with less cost. Also it's quiet inside that makes you driving relaxed situation. It has features that I havnt used yet.

Best car I ever owned.

Comfortable, powerful, excellent sound, easy to drive. Although it is over 4 years old, it is still in excellent condition. Just replaced the tires and drives silently and securely. It does not have lane correction or automatic parking. I believe those items were not available in 2016.

My car

The best car we ever had & we had some good ones ( Lincoln, Cadillac, Jaguar, Mercedes, Corvette, just to name some) I was looking for this car for couple months, because we wanted the last year was made with low mileage, only 24000 miles on it for a great price, I couldn't refuse, I heard many good things about it, and I'm happy to own one now.

Ron’s Equus Review

Great looking, great running luxury car. Love everything about it. Wish Hyundai would have kept making them after 2016. Strangers tell me how nice a car it is and can’t believe it’s a Hyundai. The grill is nicer than the Genesis models.

It is a great car, love air suspension, horse power, heads up display on ultimate version. This should be standard on car not a $5,000 upgrade to the ultimate with most of the stuff not needed. Like auto closing doors, really!

So far in four years not a single mechanical problem.Ive had Mercedes s series and Lexus Ls series Like yours better than either of them. When you put in the price of yours $25,000 less is considerable.

Great luxury car with little or no owner maintenance cost

Previous BMW 7 series owner for 8 years. Now I have come to understand this car is a wonderful luxury drive. All the bells and whistles you expect on a $100k vehicle. But this excellent HYUNDAI brand has won me over! Since this discovery my family has purchased 7 Hyundai cars in as many years! #lovemyHyunai

Very smooth ride, excellent power, I not planing to sell any time soon, the interior finishes very nice and comfortable the trunk is big the transmission very smooth. I am very happy with the both veichel the Equus and the Genesis .

The car drives so smoothly. The gas mileage could be better, but it is a V8. When you sit down, you can feel the comfort and luxury. It is really fun to drive. I like the grill and wish they hadn’t changed it when it became Genesis. Love the heated seats. I bought it used with only 25K miles. I love this car.,

Re-engineer two issues to make a perfect car

This is my second Equus. I bought it new in 20106. The car has a very poor turning radius and the rear view mirror should NOT tilt down on the driver's side mirror when in reverse, only the passenger side mirror should tilt down to view the curb area while backing. Fix these two issues and VIOLA! a perfect car.

Equus dependability and comfort

Our only problem is knowing that we can never own another Equus! I feel Hyundai needs to bring back this car. We have people every week stop and ask us what kind car it is, it is a real eye catcher! Please bring it back!!!!
