Overall Exellent car

Factoring the federal incentives and 2 years free charging, in addition to great range, comfort and performance , this was an absolute no- brainer. I’d encourage everyone reading this to crunch some numbers and schedule a test drive!

Ioniq 5 - Joy to Drive

The Ioniq 5 has been a joy to own and drive. It has saved us enough money on fuel to offset the cost of buying a new vehicle. It is much roomier inside than you would suspect looking at it. It corners like a sports car and has the passenger space of an SUV. I was concerned about the rear wheel drive in snowy weather but it performed better than many front wheel drive vehicles I have owned. Overall, a joy to drive!

Reliable and functional vehicle that is not a Tesla.

Our primary reason for purchasing anEV was ecological. This car fits the bill. It is reliable and functional. Range is predictable for an EV and estimate by the car is reliable. Good family vehicle. We will purchase another Hyundai EV.

So far very impressive car for everything to me. No words used for the complaint! I got it a little bit of skeptical about the quality but i was shocked how excellent of it. Everything is very smooth, fast and quiet. My family all loves my car !

Never fails every time I’m on the road someone waves at me and gives me a thumbs up pointing at my car. I love the quality and comfort of my ioniq 5. You won’t regret your purchase if you decide to go with Hyundai!

1 Year Later--GREAT CAR

This is an excellent car overall. I have no major complaints after a year. Minor complaint--poor turning radius. However, that is due to the long wheelbase which makes the cabin enormous for a car with such a small footprint. I'll take that trade all day long. Car is super efficient, comparable to my wife's Tesla Model 3 long range. RWD SEL is sweet spot for efficiency, power, and luxury. I often long for the additional power/speed of AWD unless you really need AWD, I don't miss it if I'm in Sport. And the tradeoff is a much-appreciated extra 50 miles or so of range. SEL features a nice and while Limited would be great, the only things I'd really love would be ventilated seats (FAR less an issue as my seats are light gray vs. black) and better audio. But this car rides great, can swallow a piano with the seats down, is fun to drive, and looks super cool. If you're in the market for a Model S-type car you HAVE to look at this--if you can get your hands on one.

Best looking EV on the road today

First off I was looking for an economical vehicle to drive. I looked at many small vehicle and a few hybrids but once I saw the Ioniq5 I fell in love. I had range anxiety but after the first week of driving this awesome vehicle I never thought of range again. Its roomier than I expected until I sat in the drivers seat. Its so much fun to drive and I get approving looks all the time. I cant say enough good things about this car.

Great vehicle in warm weather

I have put 15k miles on it in my first you with 5 1k plus trips. For a second vehicle for around town use I would highly recommend this car. If you are planning on making long trips be prepared to plan them well.

Such a fun car

I have loved this car since the day we bought it. Our experience at the dealership was a nightmare. I will never go back to Healey Brothers Hyundai in Beacon, NY. But we knew what we were doing and the car we wanted. We upgraded to matte paint, which we love. Interior and exterior is awesome. And after a year, no issues

IONIC5 Great Car

I have had the car one year now. It rides very nice, good range. I drive 140 miles per day and the cost for me to charge the car at home is 25% of what I was paying for gas. The car is comfortable, I recommend it.

Love this car! Everything easy to use. Charges fast! Roomy inside and stylish outside. Love the Bluetooth option that can connect and remote to your car for charging, lock/unlock doors, find your car and status of your car.

Great car

Overall satisfaction is high. Great driving and power. Good size and space for passengers and cargo. Range has been good. Taken all over California. Didn’t get to pick trim so I would have gone for upgraded stereo but that’s a preference. Took some time to get used to hearing different things in road noise based on no motor sounds but still a pretty quiet ride.

IONIQ 5, the vehicle of the future, available today

The vehicle has superb acceleration and control. It recharges (DC) faster than advertised in moderate temperatures, slower than advertised in (outside) freezing temperatures. Charging times improved with the pre-heating option. The range far exceeds advertised in local city driving, over 370 miles per charge. In (70 MPH) highway driving it does worse than advertised, around 270 miles vice 305. The vehicle looks great. The exterior sound, when driving at low speeds, in combination with the futuristic styling have resulted in a steady stream of positive comments. The entertainment and driver assist capabilities have made this a true joy to drive.

A vehicle built for me.

I commute a total of 60 mins a day and I wanted my commute to be enjoyable. The most comfortable seat I have had. Un-interuptted visibility, I feel like I can see everything (no obstruction of the rear view mirror). Tons of space, I can fit two road bikes in the back! On my active days I have tennis equipment and biking stuff in the car with me and it's great. Just finished the 8th snowiest winter on record in MN and my SE AWD performed perfectly. The Snow Mode is very appropriate for snowy climates. I have driven to longish trips and the charging in 20-30 mins was excellent. In the Summer, based on my driving habits, I get about 250 miles at 80% charge. In the Winter I get about 195-200 miles at 80%. Still wonderful! I will be adding a receiver for a bike rack but once that is done, I'll have a vehicle for me! Tennis, biking, camping (desire), espresso making induction cooking machine!

Wonderful vehicle

We bought the vehicle to replace a plug in hybrid to get more interior and cargo space. The lack of a drive train and gas tank make the interior spacious with a wide wheel base and the trunk space is much improved over the previous plug in hybrid.
