Love it even more than we thought we would! Iconic design!

Love the exterior/interior design (light grey interior!) and all of the physical buttons. Range and charge speed is fantastic. A couple of small details: hard to know when NACS cable is disengaged vs CCS on our Polestar. Frustrating that pedal turns off when shifting between reverse and drive and no iPedal in Reverse. Our Polestar stays in 1 pedal and that is safer. Shifter difficult when parallel parking a lot. Would like level between Limited and N. Love how Iconic the design is at this price point. Now just make us a small EV coupe like the N74!

Terrific Car!

I've been really pleased with the Ioniq5, my first EV. It's well-built and intuitively designed. The complaints I do have are 1st world problems, like when I go to FM it defaults to all stations instead of my Favorites. I tell people it's like driving an iPhone on wheels, given the easy to use Settings area of the touch screen. It feels a little wobbly going faster on turns like highway exits. Tires, stabilizer or something else? I don't know. But you cannot beat on-demand power, A/C and heat. Love the sound system. Space allocation in the 2nd row and area behind it are just right.

EV Skeptic turned EV Enthusiast

I chose the 2025 Ioniq 5 SEL because my of how much I started to drive for work. At first, I was considering similar-sized Hybrids, but ultimately I chose the Ioniq without even driving it. I went with the Ioniq because of its native NACS port, fast charging speed, and size of the interior when comparing to the exterior (there’s so much room inside for such a compact car). I’ve fallen in love with the BlueLink remote starts, digital key, and inexpensive home charging costs vs variable gas prices. For those worried about range—this car will get you where you need to go. I did a 12 hour drive and with an EV, I only added an hour of travel time. My hotel had a charger so when I woke up, my car was 100%. Yes it’s behavior change, but it’s worth it. I’m excited to crested a V2L hook up for my home so that I can use the massive 77kWh battery as a small back up for outlets and fans, in a worse case scenario. This car is so excited. Thanks for making it and convincing me EVs are worth it, Hyundai

Best car I ever owned

Not just a great EV, but an awesome car overall. Love the look and feel, but also really like the redundancy of functionality - like you can do everything via touchscreen and some voice commands, but also have good ol’ buttons and knobs for the important stuff. The windshield display is well thought of, with lots of info but not intrusive at all. Nice UX there!

Love It

We love the vehicle. It needs rear HVAC outlets/controls. My wife is much shorter than I, and therefore I have problems getting into the car after she drives it. The driver selection on the door should also allow the seat to slide back and allow me to enter.

NACS charging is a game changer

Coming from a 2023 Ioniq 5, I love being able to use Tesla superchargers. I also appreciate the little changes like the rear window wiper and updated display features.

Fun to drive, great quality. Mileage is better than advertised.

My biggest complaints center around the fact that an SEL, priced at or around $50,000, lacks a sunroof, memory seats, active wiper controls. You have to pay $3-6000 for those extras. Its seems silly and unnecessary.

I Love This Car!

I love the interior. I love the exterior. I appreciate having NACS connectivity. I love all the safety features. The 2x2 200HP isn’t as fast as my previous AWD 300HP Ioniq 5. That’s okay. Also, the stupid horn that blows when I open/close the doors! Stop that! I live in an apartment complex and don’t like to bother neighbors at late hours.
