Mostly great with 2 flaws

Overall, I am loving the vehicle. But I noticed 2 problems almost immediately - 1 Serius XM reception is very spotty. None of my other vehicles have had this problem. 2 Lane keeping assist keeps losing the vehicle in front around even slight curves where it should should be able to track it. The only way I have found to lessen this is to keep the distance setting on the 2nd closest. The setting feels tou close in many situations. Again, none of my other vehicles have had this problem.

Overall Happy With the vehicle

We have enjoyed this vehicle on some longer trips, it has excellent range and comfort. Charging was very fast and easy. A few negatives - a vehicle in this price range should have things like memory seat as a standard feature. The 3rd row is OK, but not much leg room for teens or adults. The rear row are not completely flat when put down for cargo, reducing how much you can fit in the back.

Love from the family

Due to my family size I needed a true third row, but wanted an EV and this was the only SUV in the market that I could find that matched my needs. My family and I absolutely loves the IONIQ9. Highly recommended!!!

Moving to an EV was a gamble but boy did it pay off!

I was a both excited and hesitant about switching to an EV but have now taken the plunge I can say its been a huge success. I had riden once or twice in friends' Tesla Model Ys and that was a fun drive but the dash and controls were all touch screen and that did not appeal, however it did get me interested in checking out an EV. The Ioniq 9 is a much, much more refined vehicle than Tesla Model Y, there is no comparison. Quiet, fast and most of all roomy. I am 6ft 4in and so space is a major consideration for me. Also we have 5 grandkids and I do a lot of woodworking and other jobs around the house and so cargo space is key. Superbly engineered vehicle, I am truly delighted with my purchase.

Ioniq 9 - 3 months review

My Ioniq 9 SEL has been great. Car is large and spacious, with plenty of room in the 3rd row. The ride quality is nice and smooth, and certainly much better than the Tesla. Range is good, and charging speed is also good. Plug & Charge also works well for me, which is convenient. The material in the cabin is good, and certainly do not feel cheap. That said, I do wish the trunk space with 3 row seats in use is a little larger. The frunk, while larger than the Ioniq 5, is still pretty small, so utility there is quite limited. Also it is 2026, I'm not sure why they limit the digital key to only the highest 2 trims. I wish they offer 7 seats on the higher trims, since that was one of my main requirement, so SEL was the best I could get. Honestly these are about my only gripes, the car, at 3 months, has been great.
