Great vehicle with minor complaints

Spacious car that is fast and fun to drive although can feel loose and slow to respond at times. The black interior spots easily when touched. The front passenger recline mechanism already needs to be replaced but is covered with an updated work order. Wind noise is easily trapped and hard to perfect with the windows down.

Not built for short people. Blind spots in front left drivers side. Recommended to have seat go up higher. Drive range seems high but decreases quicker than expected on highway.

Excellent 3-row electric

Incredibly spacious with a useable third row even for medium sized adults. Power and range are excellent and charging speeds are impressive. The software however is very underwhelming, for example: SiriusXM layout and detail is awful. Most of the time there is no way to see the full title of what’s playing. The design of the gear shift is downright dangerous and should at a very minimum be a rotating knob like kias. There are too many features hidden in the highest trims: for instance, digital phone key. The physical key on this car would be subpar for a $20,000 vehicle. The dealer had no idea how to operate the vehicle and didn’t even realize it came with a charger. Our 3rd party charger died within 3 months. The V2L adapter should be included.

Luv my Ioniq 9

Overall, we love the Ioniq 9 Limited Edition. Would be even better if you update the following: - Satellite reception is very unstable. - Ability to close the windows remotely. - Cruise control lane assist package has to many buttons and is cumbersome to engage and disengage. - Lane assist needs tweaking. Vehicle ping-pongs between stripes. We do not use it in moderate or heavy traffic. - Can't tell if we are receiving vehicle updates. A comprehensive Notification system would be helpful. - The ability to connect to our home Wi-Fi network would be very helpful as cell signals are very weak and unstable where we live. - Doors fail to lock automatically when walking away from vehicle. - The technology systems can be a challenge to navigate and should be simplified.

Great car but should come with more features at current price point

The Ioniq 9 is a great car that I love. I just did my first road trip to Texas with it and the charging curve is amazing. Really wish the normal model I got came with additional features by default. Certain features, such as seat memory, should not be withheld since its an industry standard.

Ioniq 9 review

I like a lot of the features on this car and its size. I do find some of the systems to have a lot of lag or needing to be reset often. I wish it was easier to gauge the battery life. I have only driven it in the snow once and it did OK. I don’t know that I feel comfortable driving this long distance as in weather.

Love the drive, pickup, comfy, it's great

I really love this car. It's fun to drive. It's spacious and comfortable and the safety features are great without being obnoxious. I have a couple things I'd change. First, I want it to remember the media I was using when I got out of the car. If I'm listening to the radio - don't start music from my phone without asking me or letting me make the change. Maybe that's the phone software and not the car, but it's annoying. Also, I can't get the air to stay hot. It works when I start the climate before I get in the car - a great feature in itself - but once I'm in and I want the warm air, it's cool air or takes forever to warm up. The tech is super savvy and there's a lot to learn - arguably too much, more isn't always better, but I love the features. It's made me a car lover.

Good car. Needs work on software and missing features.

Pls switch to Android Automotive as a platform. Android Auto works great and you can keep Carplay integration. Regular Hyundai software does not cut it against Tesla features. Only Google can compete there. There is no wifi connectivity for the car on my $70k ioniq9 SEL. That is just incredibly ridiculous. Software updates by USB it says. That is so old school like 20 years ago stuff. Need to add all basic features to all models. Look at Rivian and Lucid. They are really giving Tesla a run for their money.
