Great Fuel Economy without Alleged Range Anxiety

The 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is a great car for those wishing to explore the idea of owning an electric car but are worried about going all-electric. The car is fun to drive and the interior is familiar. Hyundai opted to go with a traditional interior that is a great mix of traditional and new features. The touch screen interface is well designed, and the instrument panel provides very useful information. The data you can access about the Ioniq's fuel efficiency and operating state (i.e., whether the car is using the gasoline engine, or battery, or both) does a good job of encouraging efficient driving. The interior is spacious, although I would have liked to see additional convenience features (like air vents and USB ports) for the rear passenger area. Overall, the Ioniq Hybrid is a fantastic car and highly recommended.

Overall, a fun ride. My greatest complaint is that there were so few vehicles to choose from. I had to go to a dealership 185 miles from my home to even get a choice of two cars and they were essentially identical without several options I would have liked.

Great car- I love the comfort , power, mileage, more people should drive the Hyundai ionic! I love my car! I’ve recommended other people to Hampton Hyundai and I’ll continue to recommend the ionic! Great car I love it!

The 2019 Hyunday Ioniq Hybrid is the ultimate option of a well designed compact fuel efficient 4 door sedan with adequate room and excellent safety features. The fuel economy is the BEST amongst all the Hybrids in the US so far. The Stability due to its low Center of Gravity is EXCELLENT. The car is very well built with unmatched side impact protection. Pictures are available to see the result of a Light Rail T-boned impact at 35.6 mph provided by the driver who survived that crash.

Love the savings and style handles well and fun to drive controls in the interior are easy to get to the trunk area is spacious and the fold down rear seats adds more room speakers can have more bass still I like the car

hyundai ionic 2019

Have only had it for a few days . Refilled the tank and drove 115 miles and refilled again with 1.689 gallons. Unbelievable, That's 68.08 miles to the gallon. Drove easy anywhere between 50 and 65 miles an hour, according to break instructions. Beyond my expectations.

Ioniq...amazing

Great vehicle for the money. Fantastic fuel economy and great size to do more than just be a computer vehicle. Seat comfort is adequate but could be improved and styling is a little plain for 2019. I would definitely recommend this vehicle.

New Hybrid Owner

Purchased the top tier version, the comfort of the multiple adjustments makes a large difference as I am driving for 3 hours a day. The features are all solidly designed and there is plenty of space to store items.

Ioniq

I really enjoy the Ioniq. This is a first time having a Hybrid and I feel good having it, especially after driving a Sonata for the past three years (which was another really great vehicle). I would recommend the Ioniq to anyone wishing to decrease their "footprint" on the earth and enjoy driving without feeling guilty about the consumption of fuel. The car is nicely designed, easy to drive, good field of view, easy to manuever and overall a great looking vehicle. I am proud to drive this car anywhere! Thank you Hyundai for making such great vehicles.

I am satisfying my Ionic. Because of gas mileage is good and compact can can easy to park at small spaces. The technology is absolutely satisfying Hyundai Ionic. I was long drive from California to Nevada Las Vegas. When I am driving for a long hours to back and forth, it was extremely easy and comfortable to drive at that trip. I am so satisfied this vehicle.

Great car

The range on this car is incredible, and because it's a plug-in, I have the permits for the HOV lane which cuts my commute time in half. The ride is quiet, and the interior is comfortable, especially compared to the Nissan Leaf and Chevy Bolt.

Great car with a few flaws

Pretty much what I expected out of this car. Good experience so far. A bit noisy on a highway, but I suppose that's typical of this price range. Some software usability bugs that I hope will be fixed in the future.

Love My Ioniq

I seriously love everything about my Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid. The overall look is very classy, I like the gray, it drives really smooth (the sport mode is great and fun, too), it alerts you of blind spots and if i'm getting too close to the car in front of me (some of my friends think this is too much, but you can easily turn it off), the controls inside are well-placed. I own a house with solar panels which actually product more power than the house needs. So I get to charge my car at my house for free. When it's driving on electricity, it is so quiet. The only thing I had to get used to is the hatchback. Since it's a hatchback, there isn't a button on my key to release the trunk when I'm walking towards it. It's not a big deal but that's the only thing (and really, nothing else) that I easily got used to. I have another friend who owns an Ioniq and we always rave about it.

High Mileage

My 2019 Ioniq Blue Drive is my second Ioniq. I put 55,000 miles on my 2017 in 17 months. It never had a single problem. I traded it because I got a great deal on the trade It turns out that this car gets the greatest gas mileage of any car in America. It also is remarkably well built and has great performance. I love the fact that it has a standard transmission with automatic clutches.

The Hyundai Ioniq is an excellent vehicle with a low cost of ownership considering energy savings!

I researched this vehicle as well as other hybrids when I was looking for something reliable that also had very good gas mileage. Reading that this car had the highest MPG in North America intrigued me and I ended up heading to a local dealership to try it out. I enjoy how it drives and it is very stylish looking compared to most hybrids. I am definitely happy about purchasing this vehicle, though the dealership wasn't the best experience I ever had with a sales person/financial accountant (not Hyundai's fault). I would definitely recommend this vehicle to others, especially those that are conscious about true cost of ownership and are looking for something that will be very affordable and comfortable to drive daily.

Fun to Drive

I have yet to put Gas on the car Perfect Commute car if your drive distance is under 35 miles and have a charging station Great performance when switch to sport driving. Con I only which the driving on electric range was longer than 30 miles Over all I'm very have considering the price. I research for and electric car for over 6 month I settle for Plug Hybrid since there is no distance limit as for the battery I have life time warranty with Hyundai (I will keep this car for a while) they also have the best warranty I have seen for car in the market

Very good car

The Hyundai Ioniq EV is a comfortable, efficient car. It handles well, and gives a very smooth ride. The car is attractive and well-appointed. I have been impressed by little touches such as the way even the window control on the inner door handles light up at night.
