Great crossover

I had a Santa Fe before. Wanted a smaller vehicle but still the ability to carry items. When I moved, my vehicle transported most of the boxes. Much better gas mileage helps the pocketbook. Drives great in the snow too.

Great little car-so fun to drive

Cool looking, fresh, different, reliable, great ride! No problem with power and handles all weather challenges, despite being small. The AWD is terrific. Also we enjoy the sunroof immensely. The sound system is great. Very very comfortable in front seat!

Hyundai kona 2018

I wanted a vehicle that could easily move me from point A to point B. But also with excellent safety features and friendly to the pocket. My Hyundai kona provides all this. When i started traveling, i realised the boot/trunk is kinda small, can't easily fit two midium sized suitcases. It felt short, but its a compact car, so its expected. Despite this, i love my this car. Wanted to trade it in for a bigger trunk, but i couldn't. Therefore, just put the back seats down and that expands storage space.

Good commuter car.

Decent vehicle, a little small on trunk spacing, ride comfort for long day rides ? I wonder. Use mostly local drives. Some hesitation at times accelerating. Wish the automatic climate control was an option on all models, also GPS ! Heated seats work fine.

Great ride. Dependable. Love the rear camera. Very easy to come t to blue tooth but must connect with charger to use maps with iPhone Leased the vehicle and considering purchase at end of Lease. Was not happy the vehicle did not come with floor mats. Thought that was odd.

Quite satisfied with my decision and operation of vehicle to date. Nice balance of features to my budget. Didn’t know I would enjoy heat seaters as much as I do! Love the integration of my phone and media.

Love my Kona

It’s a nice riding car with great mileage and affordable. Performs good on wi yet roads. I put snow tires on it this year at the dealership. I find it handles even better and the dealership gave me a great price

compact 4x4

I wanted a compact 4x4 for my wife in our snowy climate. I wanted 30mpg. I really like the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. THIs kona gets close to 30 mpg, and my wife isntg getting stuck in the snow in our driveway anymore.

Kona

Kona is an easy car to drive. Great with Snow drives right through it! The only wish I had was a bigger trunk. Im a short person and the drivers seat raises so I can see over hood. Its a Fun car to drive!

Don’t buy if you have to park outdoors

Love the style and feel of the Kona. Unfortunately had several issues- battery and paint failed between years 1 and 2. Oils changes every 3000 miles highly inconvenient. Biggest issue though is wiring is made of something that attracts rabbits/rodents to eat the outside layer- we live in a nice gated community, but car has to be in driveway. Rabbits are wiring, sets off all the sensor warning lights, $350 to fix, but then they just ate the new wiring. Cant pay $350 a day to park in my own driveway so car is getting returned early. Toyota in driveway has no issues. Neighbor indicated maybe it’s a peanut based material on wiring, who knows. Failure on battery and paint led to not being interested in buying Hyundai again.

Sound Vehicle

Overall great car for the money. It has not given me any trouble that effected my travels. It’s more for a small to medium sized person, but I’m large or better and it works for me. No regrets on this purchase as what I may need next was not a consideration then.

I absolutely love my Kona. I was looking for a new car and stopped in at my local Hyundai dealership to look at the Kona when it first came out. I test drive it and instantly fell in love with it. Great vehicle! I would highly recommend a Kona!

2018 Kona

I leased a 2018 Kona in July of 2018. I have been so happy with this vehicle. It looks small from the outside, but when you are in the car, there is plenty of room and leg space. I love how the seats fold down, the mileage you get is excellent, about 37 mpg. It has a button for Sport mode, which is great when you're on the highway making fast manuevers. It has a great pickup for a small SUV. The interior is stylish and the outside is sleek. The sound system is great, and I love the safety features of when it beeps when you are crossing over into another lane accidentally or with out your signal on. Also, if there is someone in your blind spot, it also signals you, and brakes on its own if someone cuts you off or stops short. I love my Kona! I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want a large SUV yet has the features of an SUV. Easy to handle tight on turns, and love my sunroof and heated seats!

fun to drive

excellent vehicle all round. Very reasonably priced. has a very large hatch back, fits almost anything. the exterior is designed to be aerodynamic and sleek looking. Fun for all ages and has a sport button for quicker pick up when needed.

Best sub compact I've owned

Needed a vehicle that was not a large SUV and sat higher then a car. My husband has shoulder problems and was having trouble getting out of our Sonata. I was also missing my Subaru I prepared sport. The Kona was the perfect fit for us.

Great car for the value

Theres a lot to love about this car. It fits my needs perfectly and has few draw backs. Media system and fuel economy are on point. The interior is sadly plastic heavy and can make noises. External noises can crop up too and the dealerships dont want to deal with you easily. Twisting arms is normal.
