Kona = Comfort

For a small car, the Kona feels roomy and comfortable. (I am 6’ tall, 270 lbs). Lots of head and leg room. The safety features and awesome styling make it fun to drive. Gas mileage is great (I’m getting 32 miles per gallon)

Great car!

To my surprise, the Hyundai Kona came with all of the desired options as standard. As an SUV it does sit lower than I would like which makes it a little harder to get in and out of. The trunk storage space is minimal.

Nice Vehicle

I bought the Kona a year ago based on researching top twenty mid size SUV’s. My vehicle was on the way out. At the time the Kona was rated #2. The reason I purchased it and not the #1 was about $6000 to $8000 cheaper. It hasn’t disappointed. Great value with lots of safety functions and a 100,000 mile warranty trumps many other car companies.

Jerks when stop and than restart, engineer does not shut off When stopped for for a light

Jerking when stop and than restart, doesn’t happen all the time But it is very annoying and embarrassing with friends in the car And it jerks. Engine does not stop at a stop light or stop sign, works for a couple of days and than doesn’t work, doesn’t matter the kind if weather

2022 Kona Limited

I was looking to replace my luxury level vehicle due to a job change and the need for a more economical form of transportation. I found that the Kona gave me Great performance with the 1.6L turbo and has incredible technology that I had grown accustomed to in my previous vehicle.

It's a nice car

Overall the vehicle is nice. First day of having it home there is a area on the hood where it looks as if the paint was rubbed/smugged. The back seat behind driver bubbled up when sitting in the sun on a hot day and at times when accelerating there seems to be hesitation

So far it's been great.

So far this has been a great vehicle with very good fuel efficiency. We have not had any issues so far. We buy vehicle and keep them as long as possible. So the warranty was a big selling point for us.

Overall somewhat satisfied!!

The exterior of the Kona is very well designed and very attractive. The interior of the vehicle could use a higher quality looking dash and cluster. It's just cheap looking when compared to the Elantra.

Fantastic little SAV

Kona is fun to drive and is perfect for daily commute. Performance is the right amount and the technology is amazing. Style is unique and it has just the right amount of flare. Build quality is great. Love this car!

Great Car

This is a great little car. It is very easy to maneuver and the safety features and infotainment system are great! Just took it on a long road trip with my 86 year old mother and she was comfortable the whole way. Fuel economy is great.

Smooth and beautiful

The Kona SEL has a very smooth drive, living in the Midwest, it’s currently pothole season. The ones I can’t avoid, I barely feel driving over them. It’s nice and quiet inside, even on extremely windy days. It’s the perfect size for a compact SUV. I’ve never received so many compliments on a car before, the teal color is beautiful, albeit more blue than teal.

Delightful little SUV.

Car is nimble and works great in city environment and on the highway for some longer driving. Have yet to take it on a road trip but will very soon. Much better than an sedan in my opinion but there is a little to be desired in the case of storage. If possible get a roof rack for more storage. Which is what I am going to do in the near future. Other than that great little SUV drives great easy to navigate and use and amazing design. Some of interior is a little plasticy feeling but not a deal breaker by any means.

Great SUV

Sporty SUV with great safety features. I routinely get 34-40 mpg. The heated seats and sun roof are great. It is easy to fold down the seats at carry cargo. Heater takes awhile to warm up the cabin. But the AC is on point.

Unexpected

I didn’t know you could get a performance platform in an suv at THIS price range. What a steal! The vehicle does lack some minor aesthetics or quality in some areas, but more than makes up for it by focusing on being what it was designed to be.

2022 kona

The car is amazing and feels great/smooth to drive. But I really can’t see the difference between a 2017 Kona and a 2022 Kona. You would think it would have more modern features, but it really does not.

Reliable vehicle

Vehicle is reliable and easy to drive. Auto lane controls take some time to get used to but easy to manage. Seat height adjustments and trunk space could be better. Overall it is fuel efficient and comfortable enough to drive long distances.

Overall great vehicle

OK so I need 200 characters. It's a good low / mid priced vehicle. Great looking and very dependable. Quality is good for the price range. I would recommend this if you are wanting a SUV that's not a huge monster that takes up the whole road and drinks gas like a thirsty child. Ok I made it past 200 characters.

Eye catching

This car is a cute car with nice features. Moves easily through traffic. It practically can fit into a compact cart spot. I immediately upgraded the sound system. The gas mileage is good even with gas being so expensive presently.
