Great subcompact SUV

Perfect SUV for a single person or small family. Great gas mileage, comfortable ride, and stylish exterior/interior. The sunroof and heated seats are great additions during the different seasons. The navigation system is easy to use, and it's easy to pair your phone to the vehicle and gain access to even more information.

so far so good

i like to car so far it is really good on gas i wish the the xm radio would have lasted longer than a few months i wish the the rear hatch was an auto feature and not manual i only have around 3000 miles on it so far but i like it so far

VERY UNHAPPY WITH KONA

We have owned other Hyundai’s and we’re very happy. This Kona was a Huge mistake! We don’t feel safe, feel every bump in the road. Feel like we’re in a tin can. Changed tires 2x, seats very uncomfortable. You feel like you’re sitting on the floor GPS lose connection all the time then takes too much time to reset. Just a tremendous mistake leasing this car!!!

Great Car, Great Quality, Great Warranty. Aside from any factory recall that can happen to any car at any time, This brand has been one of the most stable cars I have ever had. Well worth the money and the free oil changes for 3 years is the cherry on top for me!

Love my Kona.

I love my Kona. East to get in and out of. Love the blue tooth accessory. Very comfortable ride. Love the road assistant. Pricing was very important to me. Also, I di not want a full size SUV and this is a small SUV so perfect for me.

Absolutely outstanding in every way!

Learned about the Kona through researching car reviews and was impressed by the safety rating and all the safety features. Test drove it and fell in love! The interior is thoughtfully designed, with excellent lighting, well placed controls, and comfortable seats. It is a joy to drive, steers effortlessly through sharp curves and accelerates nimbly when asked. It's the perfect size to easily park on crowded city streets but still has plenty of room for carrying lots of luggage.

Too small and unsafe

Car doesn't drive well. It's too shaky on the Highway and the lane assist doesn't help it too much. It makes you feel like your going to crash. Forget about driving in the rain you would feel even more unsafe.

N Trim Engine Replacement at 5,200 miles

Had to have the engine replaced at 5,200 in my Kona N. The first Hyundai I owned had the fuel pump go out at 1,400 miles. Not impressed with the quality of Hyundai. Working on solutions with this vehicle.

Nice ride.

I have enjoyed my Kona. It is a very nice sporty looking car. It is not made for a family of four to travel in. There is not enough cargo space. If you pack it right, you can make it work. For an everyday car it has been great.

Hyundai is usually a reliable car but I have had this one long enough to judge yet

Great car but for the price and quality if I had it to do over again I would have bought a Mustang GT. I purchased the Kona because at the time I thought the Mustang was too expensive.After my purchase there really wasn’t that much price difference!

Love it

Love the way it drives and how it is good on gas. The only thing that I don’t like is the way it fits a baby car seat. It is very tight on a rear facing one that I needed to do homework on what would fit better. I feel the radio could be a little better in the sound.

Time for a change

I traded in my Subaru after driving a Kona on vacation. Didn't need as much storage after a change in careers but needed great gas mileage, comfort, and awesome safety and handling. The Kona is a winner for those needs. Head to toe a great little car. Only issue? Get a model with a roof rack if you plan on going on trips

Poor MPG

Like the vehicle, but getting poor MPG, 22.9 in primarily city driving, driving very conservatively, when vehicle is rated at 28 MPG for city driving. Otherwise, the vehicle meets my needs and I like it.

A good car, but a little over priced

The Hyundai Kona, is a good looking cross over, it has good acceleration, gas milage, interior lighting, and sets up a little higher for us taller people. The only downsides are the rear passenger leg room, there Electronic sound system, and the view out the rear needs some help, although the back up camera compensates a little. Overall I would give it a 8 out of ten. What did it for me is the ten year 100,000 mile warrenty.

Perfect size car

Just looking for a vehicle that was a good size for myself, my fiancé, and the dogs. Its just tall enough that you don't feel like you are falling when you get into the front seat, but not too tall that my little dog has difficulty jumping in unassisted. The seats are very easy to clean when we forget to put the covers on after a hike, the rack on the top is adjustable to fit whatever we are carrying perfectly. The backseat may be little small for some, but the dogs don't need any leg room so it is perfect for us!
