good value for money

Its a Hyundai, price savings in exchange for some fit and finish, comfort issues. That's the deal. I have owned five Hyundai's. Same deal. My Kona fits right in there. Good performance, seems to be holding up well. seats are uncomfortable, so I bought an after market cushion. Road noise, wind noise about what you expect, too loud, so spend more for another car or live with it. My only real issue is the "software" side of things, the entire phone connectivity issues are well documented, and true. It is a huge pain. The so called "smart cruse control" isn't. I get this is a less expensive car. So either spend on the necessary engineering to do this sort of thing right, or leave it out.

Kona Experience

Vehicle allows ample room and comfort for traveling with pets and sports equipment. Safety features are good for both in town and highway driving. Vehicle looks and feels sporty, with ample vision all around.

Very pleased. I will most likely get a newer model in the next year.

Overall very pleased with this purchase. Really like the smaller version because it fits in my garage. I was only able to get a white Kona at the time. My first day running errands, I come out of the store and there are literally 10 white SUVs. Only issues I have is with windshield noise, no direction indicator in rear view mirror and limited storage inside automobile.

Fun and exciting ride.

Car rides beautifully with a lot of safety features. It’s fun to drive, especially with the turbo which allows you to accelerate quickly. The interior leather is beautiful and easy to clean. It’s a fu. Ride!

First New Car

After spending over a year researching different vehicles, I knew that I wanted a compact SUV. Most important to me were included technology and safety features. The Hyundai Kona checked all the boxes! As a larger person, I was amazed by the head space and comfort that I felt behind the wheel!! More importantly, this Kona is just fun to drive. Excellent ride quality, low ride noise, and features like lane keeping assist and intelligent cruise control make long distance drives fly by!! The dual clutch 8 speed transmission is sluggish at very low speeds, but extremely responsive at all other times. The 1.6 Turbo 4 Cylinder engine generates 170 HP, and is amazingly responsive when needed for that extra boost of power to quickly make a pass on a 2 lane highway! Most importantly, Hyundai wrapped this whole package at a price point and with a warranty that the other manufacturers simply couldn't touch! I LOVE my Kona!!

horrible experience

Battery died and cannot be replaced for months. this happened within first year. interior is unportable and engine lacks power. good looking car but quality is not good compared to other cars in this price point.

USB always has to be connected

It’s such an unfortunate that even though we paid over 40 K for this brand-new model, and still for using GPS phone has to be connected with USB. I believe that car shouldn't face this difficulty specially 2022 models.

Love my car

Great car to drive. I feel safe for long drive. Great Guarantee on Maintenance. Great on gas also. Very comfortable to sit in. Truck is a little small but seat down down which help me for big item to put in the car.

You cannot get any help from Hyundai’s customer service. Worst I have ever dealt with in my life. We buy new vehicles due to my husband’s job every 3 years. Do not want to ever have to deal with them again.

Love my car! Only disappointed because I did not get electric start! It would be so much easier for me to start it from in the house in the winter instead of going in and out of the house twice! I have never had it but wish I did!

Great car except

I want to love this car but because of the super small back seat and tiny cargo area, I can't. If you have children this is not the car for you. There is barely enough room for a stroller. It's nice to drive but just too small for convenience. We could barely get two suitcases in there when we went on vaccation.

Love my Kona

Love my Kona I have been a customer of Hyundia vehicles since 2006 and very unlikely to buy from another dealership. Hyundia has won my trust in vehicles and that is something that is hard to come by.

sporty and fun to drive

If you don't mind lack of bells and whistles its sporty and fun to drive with great gas mileage. I found I missed heated leather, power seats. It also has fairly loud road noise. I didn't like the black trim...it was hard to keep clean.

Age is showing flaws

Performance is still great with the car, but ergonomics are not great. The infotainment center is good to a point, but it reset itself one day, and that made me lose confidence in the system. The wireless charging location causes the most grief because you can change the AC settings when you reach for your phone. Brakes were extremely loud for the first 8K miles

My Kona

This is the best car I have ever bought. Probably will go with another Kona when that time comes. The Kona is fun to drive. The color is beautiful and the interior is roomy. I love driving this car. The gas mileage is great.

Love This Car!

I love my new Kona. It just fits me and my life style. I appreciate the kind and careful way the service department works with me. I came to Ken Garff after being treated very rudely by another dealership. They were abusive and very pushy. I left there in tears and attempted to try again. I called Ken Garff and even over the phone I was respected and helped. I am amazed at the difference this dealership has made for me. I highly recommend them to anyone!

the car is poorly assembled

the car is poorly assembled, it has a cheap fuel to its construction overall. without a doubt the worst part are the dealerships. They know the car is defective from the manufacturer but but refuse to fix it.
