Warranty work is a nightmare

Trying to get the EGR valve issue fixed with my 2024 Kona. It's going back to the dealer for the third time to try and fix the check engine light for the EGR valve.

Exactly what I wanted

My 2024 Kona is everything I want in a vehicle. The size is perfect, as my kids are now grown. The dash is my favorite aspect due to the large screen. I couldn’t ask for a better running and more reliable vehicle.

Acceleration is awful

The acceleration hesitating most of the time is annoying. Sometimes it feels like "the little engine that could". Almost like the car is playing tug o war with itself.

Cheap interior, hard to keep clean

I am very dissatisfied with this Kona the interior stains easy even though we paid extra for scotch guard. Car is not very comfortable to drive. The gauges are ugly and will not change style. Front hood has some rock chips that are already resting. Everything about this car is just cheap to me I will never buy another Kona. I think the price is too high for what you get. I would’ve been better off getting a CRV.
