Vehicle Good, experience bad

The fix provided for recalls is far from satisfactory. The one touch fold for 2nd and 3rd row is disabled to fix the recalls, no more fold option from dashboard. So now to fold the 3rd row I need to get out of vehicle and do it from trunk by keep pressing the button until seats are folded.

It drives ok, does'nt save settings,back up with a hitch stops hard!!

Should'nt have bought this SUV. My settings do not "save" permanently. I have to reset my options every time the car is started. Every other car I have ever owned has the ability to SAVE SETTINGS. This prevents me from simply getting into the car & driving away. I have to reprogram everything all of the time. Who sells a car like this in 2026? The last person who tried to fix this problem told me that I have to take the car to a handicap mechanic to see if THEY could fix the Hyundai problem. That will cost ME MONEY. We were clear about our needs for the handicap accessibility lift & sales assured us it was not a problem. Then the salesman set our car to recognize that the lift (which is considered a BIKE or SKI RACK) was a TRAILER, which caused many of the much needed safety features NOT TO WORK. Only after realizing the mistake he made after we owned the car for 3 months with safety features that did not work, the salesman turned off the trailer mode, which caused some of the safety features to finally be allowed as options. I cannot recommend this vehicle to anyone with mobility issues, or children who must ride in the faulty back seats, for fear that the child could be killed. This seat folded me in half! This caused me not only anxiety, but I was sore from being forced into a folded position until I could be rescued by my handicapped husband, which took a long time for him to get to me. I am not able to move this seat forward or backward, & I cannot have back seat passengers. This has greatly limited our abilities to use the vehicle as we normally would. But no one will read this review, or get it into the hands of anyone who cares, so I don't know why Hyundai even bothers to do these "reviews".

2026 Gray Metalic Palisade for a retired professional cowboy 🤠

My family loves this SUV, its a very comfortable car for six adults. It even pulls my sons motor cycle trailer with ease. The options are amazing, after five months I am still learning about the options. This car is incredibly safe, it helps you avoid accidents. The first day commuting to work a Tesla slammed on his breaks in the middle of a four lane freeway. The Palisade stopped on a dime . Amazing mid size suv, test drive one than you will see.

Love the car, poor customer service

I enjoy my new Hyundai Palisade HEV. You get a lot of value for your money. However, the experiences I have had with the Houston area dealerships has been disappointing. You don't feel valued as a customer. I'm also disappointed in the recent software upgrade to fix the seat recall. One of the features I enjoyed so much was the one-touch seat folding/unfolding and the ability to control them from the infotainment screen. The remedy rolled out to consumers feels like it was just a quick fix without considering the best solution. I am hoping there is another, better thought through, update that restores some of the functionality that was taken away initially with that update.

Palisade is my new favorite!

I am loving the Palisade. The only thing I would love to see change are: 1.The stereo control should be on the left side of the steering wheel. It's very awkward when attempting to control the cruise control on the left side and the same for controlling the stero on the right. 2. The push start definitely doesn't belong on the gear shift, I have hit the start stop switch several times attempting to hang up a call. 3. The final thing is I really wish all Palisades were equipped with the panorama sunroof, to me that panoramic view is the epitome of class which the Palisade exudes...but that added feature would be a bonus.

Luxury that is TOO SMART

This car is luxurious but has too many bells and whistles that are not quite fine tuned. The seats are the number one complaint. The way they move is unpredictable and not helpful. Even with all the software updates, Hyundai cannot get it right. The lane assist is off. The collision warnings are way too sensitive. They alert you to the lines on the road or they think a construction barricade is a car. It hard breaks for absolutely no reason. If there is a person 100 feet away, it will slam on the breaks and think you are going to hit them when your are going less than 5 MPH. I would give this car back if I could. I have a hybrid that is getting the same gas mileage as my regular engine Kia Telluride. Not worth the extra expense.

Packed with several of features

This is a great vehicle packed with several features that usually you can only find in more luxurious vehicles. The drive is very smooth and quiet especially on the EV mode. The hybrid is for sure a big plus for gas savings especially during this time where the gas prices skyrocketed. Great redesign outside and inside from previous generation.

Overall a great vehicle with some minor inconveniences

We bought our 2027 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy new. We've had the car for almost 5 months and have about 5,000 miles of both city and highway driving. Love the car! It is comfortable for both short trips around town and for long trips on both highway and gravel rads. The cabin is very quiet. It comes with all the conveniences and perks one would expect in a high end car. The 4 rating is driven by some small inconveniences/preferences. The owners manual doesn't have an index, making it difficult to find a specific topic. The on-line versions are indexed but not the hard copy. The infotainment system is black with white lettering, a color scheme I do not like. I figured out how to change the map, but can't get the entire infotainment screen in any other color. It has a full set of climate controls but the buttons are small and the lights hard to see in bright sunlight with sunglasses on. I have to take my sunglasses off to see if the AC or heater are on, and similar small inconveniences. The liftgate doesn't close when using the key fob or the liftgate button, opens fine with both but won't close. Probably a setting someplace in the system but I haven't found it yet. Overall I recommend the vehicle. Be prepared for some minor frustrations with the controls and systems. My understanding from others who have purchases loaded new vehicles of other brands is that these issues are common.
