2020 Palisade

Overall a great vehicle. Some features are "missing" that I hope get added in future models - but just simple ones. It feels like a luxury vehicle and is certainly the most $$ I've ever spent on a vehicle, but I'm enjoying it.

Great Vehicle-Exceeds Expectations

After 18,000 miles we are still very happy with our Hyundai Palisade. It’s a highly quality vehicle with lots of extras. Overall it a better vehicle with more features included then a compatible Lexus, BMW, Audi, GM, Chrysler, or Ford. If they fix the known wind noise problem I would give a straight up five star rating. The wind noise is slight but too much for a vehicle of this quality.

2020 Palisade

nice looking SUV, its comfortable, decent quality, so so performance., nice features, good value for the money and reliable. Wish it got better gas mileage, LED lights at night are a concern, we fixed the ugly front trim around the grill and are still having an issue with the garage door opener. Overall I'd recommend any mid size SUV buyer to check it out. Be careful they try to add $ to the MSRP.

Too manysmall dumb things

The garage door opener in a very poor location. Every time you use it you have to readjust he mirror, also it is not lit and you have to fumble around to find it after dark The drink holder in the door over the cup holser has to be open to use it and you don't have a place to lay small item s like sun glasses

Very good over all vehicle. Better tires would be appreciated. The ride could be quieter and smoother. The oil filter is too expensive. The battery is extremely expensive to replace. $500 for a new battery is ridiculous.

Navigation Not Current to current conditions

The navigation system does not reflect current routes like Google Maps. I work in an area that Google Maps will show the roads however the navigation system does not show those roads and the ones that are shown have the wrong identification and wrong posted speed limits.

I WAS HAPPY WITH THE CHOICE. THE SALES MAN PROVIDED ECELLENT SERVICE. I DID HAVE SOME CONCERNS SUCH AS THE WINDOW NOISE WHEN THE WINDOWS WERE CLOSD. A DOOR PANEL THAT IS LOOSE. I HOPE THAT I WILL NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS GEETING THOSE ISSUES ADDRESSED AT THE DEALERSHIP.

Wind noise from doors

Make sure to test drive @ high speeds and be aware of wind noise. After talking with others who own this vehicle, it is NOT an uncommon drawback. Acceleration from stop is slow. Would like better acceleration from stops.

Danielle was a professional, courteous and friendly as my shuttle driver. I give her 10/10 She represented the Taylor Dealership well and was delighted in her ability to converse and have casual conversation. She was a pleasure to be around.

Great car for this price, (Has some imperfections)

The side wind sound comes in cabin (not acoustic/aerodynamic issue?) Catalyst converter smell in cabin at high RPMS THE Break pedal stands to high in comparison with gas pedal {increases breaking lag time}(causing safety issues at speedy break needs) Super fragile windshield (bullseyes very easy with small objects contacts)

Palisade

The Palisade is better than the research shows. Our mileage per gallon is higher than the sticker said (something that never occurs with the big 3 vehicles). It's more comfortable than the Ford Explorer, and comparatively equipped is $15K less.

Hundai palisade

The car has everything I wanted the only thing that I don’t enjoy is the wind noise at highway speeds especially in a cross wind the doors seem tight so I think it is poor wheather seals around the door or around the windows this is the only thing that brings it down a couple points in my book.

Good/Stylish Vehicle

So i started with looking at the Kia Telluride. After not hearing form the dealership, I started looking at the Pallisade. I like it a little less in design, but the perfomance and price won. It drives well and is very compfortable. One of the items that sold me was that, and i quote my sales person, "has the same technology that Bently uses to keep the cabin quite." It worked well for the first few months, but as of late it is noisy in the car. I am working with the dealership to hopefully fix that. Overall good car for the money.

Satisfied Customer. A great value when compared to Chevy Tahoe or Ford Explorer or other large SUV's. Don't hesitate to buy this car.

Great car for the money. Great safety features and technology. Go test drive one yourself to see the value you get with this car. It is a pleasure to drive from Chicago to Florida a few times a year. We are glad we made this purchase.

Loud noise

Not good for long trips. The noise is to loud. I hardly open the sunroof because that increases the noise even more. Yes we did cup holders, but not at many could have other details add. Hopefully one day they would let me drive a newer model and ask for my opinion as a consumer costumer

The Palisade is a good vehicle however there are certain concerns as well...

I have a palisade and overall my family is satisfied by the car. Excellent interiors and comfort. I am however concerned with the fire extinguisher, kept loose in the trunk. i approached the Hyundai service center and I am told that they do not have a fixture for this. How can a vehicle that is rated high for safety have loose items in the car? Can Hyundai technical team address this. I am concerned about the safety of the people in my car and do not feel comfortable with a fire extinguisher that is not fixed. Also , by keeping the fireextinguisher in the cargo hold area,it restricts the access in case of a small fire or the need to use the extinguisher.

Excellent vehicle except for the smell

The car is fantastic. It rides well, looks first class inside and out. All the electronics are easy to use and very helpful. The safety features are amazing. The smell inside the car is horrible when the temperature outside warms up to above 75 F. Then the inside is almost intolerable.

Pallissade

fairly good car but with some major omissions for a car of that value. At the time of the purchase, i was poorly treated by the dealership of Kia and I had to turn to Hyundai to find a car. unfortunately, I had to take what was available and there are quite a few thing that did not correspond to my liking.

Good quality vehicle

Vehicle is very reliable and rides well. There is to much air noise through the car doors. The interior is sharp looking and easy to navigate the features on the front panel. Plenty of head room and leg room for a 6'2 driver and passenger.
