An otherwise great vehicle ruined by a draconian feature to CONSTANTLY shut the engine off at every stop unless MANUALLY overridden EVERY time by EVERY driver at EVERY start of the vehicle!

See comments on what is needed to improve the car by disabling the Auto engine off/on option via a preference setting in the car vs. manual intervention by EVERY driver EVERY start!!! Hyundia.....please take the simple/straight forward action needs to turn this sow into a silk purse again and add via a firmware option the ability to disable and persist the engine auto off/on option without any further action needed by the driver.

Nice car except for the horrible interior smell. Don’t buy this car because of this. Trust me. When this issue was brought to the attention of my dealer and corporate, nothing was done. As if they didn’t care.

Horrible window wind noise

This car has had vibrating wind noise in the windows from day 1. They have been unable to fix this over a year later. $52,000 and you can’t hear yourself think going down the road. Road noise doesn’t shut off when you shut the door like a true luxury car. I understand kinks in a new car but my disappointment is in no solution being offered... just sad really.

Palisade is terribly noisy

Again, I like everything about the vehicle; the look, the feel, the handling, the features, except the highway noise. It literally sounds like a window is open when driving down the highway. Very disappointing.

Major regret for purchasing this Car

Worst mistake I ever made purchasing this car. It has a horrendously foul odor that has not gone away. I can't wait to trade this car. I will never buy another Palisade. I'm very unhappy ?, and very disappointed.

Too noisy

Purchasedthis vehicle and love the look and the drive. Unfortunately it is entirely too noisy and all the windows whistle and have gaps. The dealer has performed the steps outline by Hyundai. Would appreciate resolution.

Not happy with the car at all

I very disappointed with the dealership I bought the car at and the car itself It does no run well. I feel like I over paid not enough truck space Hard to keep clean the leather is not made we'll ugh

I have had several Hyundai vehicles and this is probably the last for me or family and friends. Interior noise is terrible and Hyundai corporate pretty much said sorry about your luck, It's in the design.

Wonderful car but it has a problem

First of all I truly like this car. I like driving it and how it handles. It's fast and stable. Drives good on snow and ice. I like the roomy feel inside. I love the extra leg and foot room. My husband is tall and he fits comfortably in the car. We travel with dogs and we love the window shades to help keep them cooler. But, there is a flaw with this car and they need to get it fixed. The is a wind noise that a radio can not drown out when you drive above 60 and have any sort of wind. I will not recommend this car to anyone. They have worked on the wind noise twice and it's still there. I can't wait to get rid of this car.

Continuous Smell Coming From The Leather Seats

2020 Palasade Limited was our first choice for our Florida vehicle. Beautiful vehicle, except for the stench that continues to come from the leather seats…….buyer BEWARE……Hyundai will not resold this issue…….read up on it and do your homework before purchasing

Excessive oil consumption & can shut down / stall when oil levels are low

Vehicle has an issue which needs to be addressed. Outside of the issue it’s great. Oil needs to be changed every 3k miles or else it can stall out while driving. It has advanced technical features but I am shocked it does not have a oil level gauge.

Seats should be more tight,because while driving captains chairs are shaking

In my case due to some internal failure ac compressor got broken (smoke came from the engine with burnt smell). Seating quality is not good.wind noise is more. Seating comfort is not so great. Lane assistance has to improve in the vehicle .

My 2020 Palisade has been in for rear shocks 2 times in almost 2 years. also the cylinder in the steering column had to be replaced ... Love the look of my vehicle and the inside comfort. but tired of going to the dealer

Engine problems and visibility during rain

Fun car and good looking to drive in perfect weather condition only but Mechanicle is no good too much trouble for a new vehicle. Engine uses excessive oil and needs to be changed every 2500 miles to protect the engine and lots of fumes from exhaust that I don’t think it would pass emission test.

High potential, many issues

This is a spacious and comfortable car in its class. It competes well with the heavies in the category from Toyota and Honda and has the potential to be the best in class. Unfortunately, after 2 years and 35k miles, the build quality and poor dealerships experience undermine that potential. Repeated issues with cameras, steering wheel are temporarily resolved only to come back. Suspension became rattly after 25k miles. All that is unacceptable for a $50k car.

Road noise!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased the Limited and love the car for the most part. There is considerable wear on the drivers seat. The road noise is so bad, we live in a rural state and have to drive a lot because of this, it’s very noisy on days when the wind isn’t blowing and almost unbearable on windy days. Sometimes we have a strange smell and nothing has been spilled in it.

Nice but loud

For what I paid I would expect the vehicle to ride like a nice low noise caddy. Instead I got a lot of wind noise coming in from both front windows. Not happy with the issue. Hope it gets fixed soon

Either you love it or hate it. I found functions in this vehicle that were delightful but also things that were a day to day annoyance. Quite inside and soft ride. On the other hand it also shifts lazy and has an uncomfortable driving position. You take it for a drive and be the judge. I suggest that you ask to drive it for a day to get a real feel for the Vehicle.
