Don't Trust it

Check engine light on at less than800 miles, the at 900 miles camera behind rear view mirror dies causing all kinds of warning lights to flash. Dealership fixed camera but could not fix problem with backfiring g with any certainty. Neither corporate nor dealership did anything about issue!

Issue after issue

I leased a brand new 2025 Palisade with less than 50 miles on it. Within a week the problems started. My engine cut off on me as I was driving down the freeway, and then wouldn’t restart. Grounds were faulty, catalytic converter went bad, and an o2 sensor went bad. After almost two months of repairs I got it back. Now, with less than 3,000 miles another catalytic converter has gone bad, and there’s a recall on the seatbelts. Consider your safety and go with a 2023 or older.

Failure sunroof drain

Since purchasing my vehicle, I have discovered a serious installation failure in the panoramic sunroof drain. This issue only became apparent after the purchase, and it raises significant concerns about the safety, long-term reliability, and value of the vehicle. When I first brought the vehicle in for repair, the process took approximately two weeks. During that time, it was also sent to an auto body shop to address minor scratches present when I purchased the car. While the vehicle was at the dealership, it sat with water inside for an extended period. When I was told to pick up my vehicle on August 8th, no inspection had been completed to address this water issue. As shown in the attached pictures taken that same day, the water remained in the car. After I pointed this out, the dealership sent the vehicle to a detail shop. It remained there for another week, only to be returned to me dirty, scratched, and with additional interior damage. I refused to accept the vehicle in this condition, and the dealership then kept it again to attempt further repairs and detailing. I finally regained possession of my car on August 15th, after being without a vehicle for nearly three weeks due to the service department’s lack of attention to detail and poor care of my property. In addition, the service center failed to properly document everything that occurred, which further demonstrates a lack of professionalism, accuracy, and accountability in handling this matter. Beyond the inconvenience, I am deeply concerned about the long-term effects of water intrusion in the vehicle’s interior. Prolonged water exposure can cause: Mold and mildew growth, leading to persistent odors and potential health risks. Interior damage to carpet, seats, and trim materials. Electrical issues, as wiring and connectors under the seats and carpet may corrode or short over time. Rust and corrosion on hidden metal components, compromising vehicle safety and structure. Reduced resale value, since a history of water damage significantly devalues a vehicle. What concerns me most is the long-term effect this situation will have if Hyundai does not agree to repurchase the vehicle. I would be left with a defective product that may cause ongoing problems, safety concerns, and a financial burden over time.

This vehicle was brand new when i bought it. within 6 days, service lights came on and my entire dashboard shut off. after over a week in the service department at the dealer, i was told they still weren’t able to fix it. i was given a replacement palisade that i have had for a month. the air conditioning is already out in the BRAND NEW replacement palisade. it’s too bad im stuck with this car. i will NEVER buy another hyundai and will caution others to not buy hyundai either.

Poor

The venelated seats on the driver's side make a loud ringing noise while running. Probably a bad bearing or something. The other seats are alot quieter. The front end chips very easily, I have had many cars and no chips on the front end. This one already has 7 chips in the black gloss paint with only 2k miles and I don't do much highway driving at all. It's sad to buy a new car and these issues are here.

Will never buy another Hyundai

Bought my Hyundai new less than 3 months ago! One day I was stopped in traffic and it turned off. Eventually I got it back on and it did it again. They can’t figure out why and won’t lemon the vehicle. I feel really unsafe driving it.

Brakes FAILED with less than 500 miles on car

Purchased the 2025 Palisade. It had 221 miles on it when I bought it. Within the first 3 hours of driving I had a paint chip out of the front black grill. Then, within one week of driving (thankfully it was a local trip) my brakes failed. Luckily, I had enough strength to drive it home. Car was towed to dealership and a loaner was given to me to drive. After having my vehicle 10 days, the service department replaced the master cylinder and bled the brakes 4 times before saying it’s ready. I asked the GM to drive it home overnight to make sure it was safe and he stated he had 2 little girls that he didn’t feel comfortable putting in the car so he didn’t want to do that. He knew that if he couldn’t feel safe with his family in the car how could I. He was so understanding and was able to assist me in getting a different car for around the same price without settling for less of a car.
