Now I will give it 5 stars when I first got it that would of been 1
I loved my car from the moment I got it. I had it for just six days and only 176 miles when I stopped at Costco to fill up the tank. I let the pump shut off on its own and did not overfill it. Ironically, I was already on my way to the dealership—just two miles away—to ask about a sensor being blocked by snow.
As I was leaving the dealership, the car suddenly started shaking and the check engine light came on. It ended up being out of service for an entire month while I waited for a new fuel injector. This was incredibly frustrating. I’m paying a significantly higher car payment and insurance, and even the complimentary XM radio went unused while the car just sat.
I truly feel Hyundai should have offered some form of compensation, given the severity of the issue so soon after purchase and the inconvenience it caused. I worked with a case representative but ultimately received nothing—I even joked about getting roof racks out of it, but no luck.
Now, another concern has come up. Today was the first time I could open the sunroof, and the switch seems inconsistent—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
Despite all of this, I genuinely love my car and am still excited to take it on a road trip.
