Amazing "truck"

This (suv handling truck) is pretty fun to drive, its got character and turns heads. The 2.5L turbo gets up an GOES this thing exellerates like a car or small suv you forget youre driving a truck. There are a few things I can nit-pick at about certain displays, or software items but all around it's a great vehicle and those issues are minimal.

Performance to match design while priced to sell

It’s a fun vehicle to drive, with good power and comfort. Picks up when you want it and looks good while doing it. Handling is excellent and the drive modes transform the vehicle so you have multiple options for your daily drive.

Great Looks, Dealer price markup hurts the brand. The truck is like no other on the road. Handles great pretty quiet on the road. Would like a more off-road option like a small lift and more aggressive tire.

Hyundai Santa Cruz / Exactly what we were looking for.

We were in the market for a small pickup truck and the Santa Cruz fit the bill perfectly. It is comfortable, well designed and easy to drive. We couldn't be happier with our purchase. Compared to other vehicles we considered purchasing, once we checked out the Santa Cruz that was all it took; we came home with it.

so far so good, more to come as i drive it more

Jack of all trades. listen it's not the best at one thing but it's pretty good with everything. car i built for good hour trips with the car packed full of sporting equipment, skiing, biking, fishing, backpacking. its also a good starter family car too with the back seat perfect for kids and plenty of storage for all the after-school activities. no need to worry about cleaning the storage areas either as the bed can just be hosed down.

Feels very comfortable driving it, the cover for the back side is ingenious. Accelerates pretty good, lightning is great, brakes are responsive, audio quality is good, and the stability of it while driving is great

Does the job

… And looks good doing it. Dealer deaf to negotiation. Functional machine. Fairly capable on rough roads. Fuel economy should be much better. CVT needs tunings. After 6 months, I do like it. Worth about 7k less. Still, a good truck as long as it lasts free of trouble a long while.

I have experienced stalling / lose of acceleration when giving gas from standing on red light or stop and RPMs getting Stock for few seconds when giving gas to merge onto highway or busier intersection

So far, a great vehicle

It's been a month since I purchase this vehicle. So far it's been a great vehicle and we enjoy driving it. The only issue I have is having to pay so much over sticker price when purchasing the vehicle. A few dealers offered me the vehicle at sticker, but they did not have it in stock and the wait could be 3-6 months which I did not want to do. While I understand what has happened due to the pandemic, there should be a limit on how much over sticker price I should have to pay for the vehicle.

Great all around vehicle

Nice vehicle for one who doesn't want a truck, but needs the utility of one. Great all around SAV for all the little and big things in your life. My only complaint is the base model seats can be uncomfortable on long trips. But other than that, the ergonomics are great and everything feels right.

It’s pretty good

I found the Santa Cruz to be a good value compared to the Maverick and it has one option not available from Ford which is the ability to actually purchase one. Any perceived superiority of the Maverick over the Santa Cruz is negated by the fact that you can’t even order a Maverick until 2023.

Pricey but unique

There are better options, so far I am enjoying the car tho. It drives smoother than most other trucks due to its body frame. Mpg is not that good but okay. It looks cool on the road! For the same amount of mone, you could get better cars..it's just matter of you could get one or not due to vehicle shortage.

Ok mini truck

It’s ok. Better gas mileage than my Ram 1500. Brakes are shaky when 1st applied. Weak motor if you go non turbo. I do love the styling but I wish the grille and piece between the bumper were black or body colored. Over all it’s a decent vehicle so far

Cons: There should have been an 18" wheel and tire option, piano black interior parts collect dust -big time! Needs a bigger gas tank. Pros: outrageous styling, great ride for 20" wheels. good mpg for such a heavy vehicle.

Not the truck I wanted, was a second choice

Not the truck I wanted, a little difficult to enter, difficult to understand and handle the controls and applications, too thigh in the back, too noise the bed cover, was the only model in the dealership, then no navigation and I have a flip phone then several options I can't use, the blue tooth system don't accept to download the contacts

Convienience fee took it down to 4 star but like the vehicle so far

Happy so far. Time will tell. Mileage better than advertised. Comfy enough. Like style. All track is good. Handling nice. Tech good. Love the lumbar air bag. Installed an after market hitch. Installed an aftermarket rool top cover. I love made on Louisiana, call it my Cajun Cruz was big selling point.
