Summary

As per the survey, I stated that there is an issue of the vehicle rolling forward when parked on an incline, and I pushed it in reverse. I have come so close to hitting the vehicle in front of me, or whatever is in front of me. I also dislike the holes in the seats as everything gets stuck in them, and I can’t find seat covers made for the Santa Cruz

Great value for money and modern looking truck with SUV look. Looking for SUV with Truck amnesties this is the vehicle. Overall best safety features like a high end car. Lot of thoughts on style but colors are limited and quality of color and door trim can be better

It feels Rush putting together

I appreciate this vehicle, but the seat cover moulting broke within 500 miles. It's not a deal breaker, it drives okay but the quality of the truck is suspect with the molding breaking right away....

Love the styling and comfort

Fit and finish is not as good as my 2019 Veloster I traded in. Some exterior trim pieces are damaged upon delivery. Headlights are horrible and can’t even see at night if it raining. The roll up bed cover does not seal against tailgate. Bluelink has never worked even on my Veloster which I also purchased new.

Sporty truck with lots of features

I have only had this truck for three weeks, but so far it's exceeded my expectations. The engine doesn't question when you say "go" with the accelerator. The features are far to numerous to list and all are very useful. I have limited use of the truck bed, but works for my intended purposes. Comfort is superior to anything I've owned and far above my Dakota's of Nissan Frontier that I traded in, The safety features are very welcome. Quality of interior is far more plush as well. The only flaw or my perception as a flaw is the lack of turn knobs on the stereo and climate controls. While driving, it becomes a task to change these features, but may get better over time as I become more accutomed to them.

So far I have been very satisfied with the new Santa Cruz I bought. I've only had it about 3 weeks and only about 800 miles on it. I'm a 77 year old man and not familiar with all the new high-tech features. I am looking forward to many more milesl

santa cruz sel awd activity package

Great looking truck very good MPG its gets better than advertised I got 34.2 mpg on a 150 mile trip average speed was 60 mph which included city and highway. Rides smooth and handles nice and the safety features are awesome. Throw in the best warranty in the business makes this a winner in my book.

Love the vehicle just a few things to work out

It rides and drives great, most of the time. I have a few things to get worked out. This was expected with new product line vehicles. I have a popping when opening and close the driver door. There is also a performance issue that acts to me like a loose connection. I have to set a time up to carry it back to the dealership.

GREAT FEELING OF STYLE AND COMFORT AND SECURITY

WE WERE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING WITH AWD FOR MY WIFE AND WE HAVE BEEN DRIVING CHEVYS FOR YEARS. WE WERE LEANING TOWARDS THE NEW TRAILBLAZERS BUT THEN WE SPOTTED A SANTA CRUZ. THE WIFE REALLY LIKED THE STYLE. I HAD JUST DROVE MY BROTHERS NEW TUSCON AND I WAS IMPRESSED. SO WE DECIDED TO START GATHERING INFO ON THE SANTA CRUZ. THEN WE WENT AND TEST DROVE ONE AND IT FIT HER WELL AND HAD EVERYTHING WE WANTED AND NEEDED. GOOD LOOKS, LIGHTING INSIDE AND OUT, STABILITY, GIDDY UP WHEN YOU NEED IT, SECURITY OF AWD, AND ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES. MY WIFE LOVES THIS SPORT UTILITY TRUCK.

Absolute joy to drive.

The Santa Cruz is a joy to drive with the 2.5T, but have heard the standard 2.5 is a bit sluggish, so I highly recommend getting the higher lvl trim. Perhaps they should equip the lower lvls with something a bit bigger like a 3.0.

Nice design, but has bugs

The ride/handling/comfort beats all others. The styling is good. Good gas mileage. Flaws. Stalls in SMART mode. At times, revs and power does not seem to get to transmission. The rear seat leg room is severely limited. The truck been needs to be just a little larger. Having the tire replacement tools in the rear underseat storage limits utility.

Swiss Army Knife of a Car

This is a very unique car on the market and is equipped with a bunch of modern touches that make this an excellent jack of all trades option. This handles far closer to a small crossover than a truck and is very fun to drive. The interior is nice although some of the space is sacrificed to have the truck bed, personally I wish it was a little wider and had a bit more leg room for the back when front seats are moved all the way back. Other than the only nit picks I have are lacking of wireless carplay/android auto, lack of heated mirrors, and memory positions for the drivers seat.

Good utility, easy to drive

Great style, the vehicle has a multitude of uses, especially in my business, which is real estate, good value. The base engine is under powered, yet with most under powered vehicles, the trade off is good gas mileage, not the case with this car.

Santa Cruse

New Santa Cruse drives like a sports car, would be fun to do a road rally. Fuel peddle is stiff so a smooth start from complete stop is not very easy. I believe I have the only one in town so I do get some looks and plenty of thumbs up. For a new design, I feel that Hyundai did a great job, as so many new body styles come out from the manufactures that you need to sometimes wait a year or two to get the bugs out. So far I believe there is not a lot of tweaking that needs to be done with this small truck.

Good truck

Good Compact truck for whom doesn't need big truck. Fair gas mileage. Good features with stylish. I choose no 4wd & no turbo, which is good enough carrying bike. Once a while, I picked up the big boxes from Costco, home- depot. I'm happy with Santa Cruz. Recommen to buy it.

Santa cruz

Great vehicle, different from anything out there with great styling and plenty of safety features. Utility is great for outdoor activities. Handle like a sport sedan rather then a suv. Gas mileage is average but engine has plenty of power for some spirited driving.

Love. Bed needs to be longer just the the silverado EV. Where people could actually sleep into the santa crew. That would make the truck more useful and more fun to drive foe everyone. And sell better .
