Hyundai Santa Cruz

The Hyundai Santa Cruz was a vehicle of surprise to myself and my wife. We were hoping that Hyundai would come up with a pick up truck design since 1995. Two are pleasant surprise the Hyundai Santa Cruz appeared when we went to trade in our lease vehicles. We immediately fell in love with the vehicle the way it looked with handled all the interior and exterior features. recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Stylish, comfort, and fun to drive

The Santa Cruz is a stylish, zippy, and comfortable vehicle. It has the bed space that is great for work stuff, yet it has a luxurious interior, clear and crisp stereo sound and ride quality. It is a perfect size and not oversized like todays full size trucks. It has the function of a truck but a ride like a suv or car.

Good driving vehicle with good styling. I also get lots of comments on the color I chose. The vehicle is well mannered on the road, easy to park. It has a nice review camera for backing up and parking.

Fun to drive

Love the Santa Cruz limited . A day doesn’t go by the someone asks about it or comments on it. 12,000 miles and no problems. The turbo will get up a go with more than enough to pass at highway speeds or to get on the freeway. The vented front seats are to die for in the summer. No more sweating backs. Love the LCD gauges, speed omiter. Navigation and entertainment screen is great. The sound could be a little better since it’s a Bose system. Handles the snow like a mountain goat.

McCarthy Blue Springs Hyundai DONT USE TEM

McCarthy Blue Springs Hyundai Worst dealership I have ever been too. Very difficult to get serviced in my area and have to drive further for service. if you want to improve I would get new management at McCarthy Blue Springs Hyundai.

Great Truck

Love the Santa Cruz, the only misses to me is the piano black trim on the interior that scuffs so easily and is dusty all the time. It has been a great vehicle for a year now and I would recommend it.

Great ride. Love the handling and the turbo power. Styling is amazing and interior looks great. Great service at my local Hyundai dealership. I would recommend the Santa Cruz and the dealership where I bought it.

Great little truck

This is a great little truck, plenty of room for all of needs as small bar owners. We're able to haul cases and kegs easily without worrying about beer getting all over the interior and can easily spray out the bed if something spills.

Nice car/truck

Didn’t intend to buy a Santa Cruz when I went into the dealership, but one just came in off the ship, and there was no others available and I thought it would be fun to see. Ended up buying the car because of its fun chunky, athletic luck and felt like a car, but very utilitarian.

nice little truck

It does what it was supposed to do. A nice little truck. Don't need a larger truck. Nice looks, nice ride, good gas mileage, nice storage. No towing package, but don't need that. Easy to park and fits in the garage. Easy to clean and work on.

Fun to drove

Luv the truck. Not happy with the dealer. They changed me for a 12 month maintenance package. Maintenance comes with the vehicle for the 1st year or so depending on how you drive. SMH. Please read and re-read all those forms they slide in front of you. Sad.

Love Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruze is perfect for me and my lifestyle. I do a bit of home remodeling but not a lot. The bed can accommodate a 4x8 sheet of plywood and drywall. It can also handle 10 foot long lumber but nothing longer. It is the perfect fit for me at this time in my life.

Nice truck for the price. Local dealership (Southern Pines) almost had me looking elsewhere for an entirely different auto maker based on the experience there and what they were charging for the truck. Greensboro NC dealership was awesome.

Transmission failed after 12000 KM

Up until this week we loved our 2022 Santa Cruz. After 12000 KM the transmission has failed. Transmission is also on back order. We did not do any long distance road trips, just basic suburban/city driving over the 1.5 years we have had the vehicle. Very disappointed.

Beautiful but flawed

Vehicle has a beautiful design, but with the engine problems, I incurred and the electric problems with the instrument cluster. I would not consider buying this car ever again. I am really surprised that Hyundai made such a poor quality vehicle. I thought they were as good as Japanese vehicles, but I was wrong.

Awesome truck

Excellent truck. Handles well, roomy, inside is very nice, comparable to an upscale SUV. Good layout of dashboard, sporty looking. Able to haul a decent amount. Well built, classy exterior, drives smoothly.
