Great vehicle

It’s a great and good vehicle to own I am going to put it through its paces since I live in Alaska. My only complaint is the fuel economy. I would like to do another review during the winter to see how this vehicle handles arctic conditions.

Great Little Truck!

I Purchased a Santa Cruz because I needed something to carry some tools and supplies for work and I wanted good gas mileage. I was trying to do it with a Hyundai Kona, which has great mileage, but the tools and other stuff was messing up the back end. So far the mileage is fair but the room is much better and the ride is wonderful. I believe the mileage will get better as time goes it did with the Kona. I purchased the SE which is the base model not all the bells and whistles but it still has a lot of features more then I use.

Great little Ute!

Waited for years since the concept was released. Been very thrilled with this new Santa Crew Limited. Think Hyundai hit it out the park. For anyone considering it or on the fence, it will exceed your expectations in this category of vehicle. Look forward to next 10 years with it.

Home Run

Somewhat of a niche market for this vehicle, but the first one to offer an exciting choice for us to move from luxury sports cars, work pick-up trucks, and family SUVs to a sporty, well designed, mixed-use, SAV that is perfect for our active senior lifestyle - ready for cross country trips, hauling a load to the dump, going out on the town, or just running to the store. I keep getting unsolicited compliments on the Stone Blue color!

Good with some quirks

Santa cruz is fun to drive and practical. Nice and functional interior and comfortable. Standard transmission seems to get confused while shifting sometimes, MPG is not as good as most other 2022 vehicles. Infotainment is functional but quirky, rear speakers are reduced to less than 50% compared to the front, no bass, and scrambled indexing when using usb stick or ipod. Wind noise from the front doors when driving over 45 mph.. Overall I like it, but feel it is a little over-priced for the quality you get

Sporty and Affordable

Smooth ride, love all the features. Not too big, not too small. Sporty look and lots of front seat leg room. Love the sunroof and bed cover. great for the beach. Enjoy driving every day. Hope it lasts for many years.

Overall I really love my Santa Cruz

Performance is better than I expected. Ride quality is much better I expected. The 10 minute test drive I originally took didn't give me a full feeling of the truck or enough time behind the wheel. But that was my choice to not extend it longer. I bought it anyway and appreciate it more.

Blue Stone Santa Cruz Limited

Love my goldilocks SAV. It's the superman vehicle... it's a car, it's a SAV, it's a truck. It's everything all in one! It's fun to drive, handles great, good gas mileage. It's the perfect car for someone who needs a truck bed not a trunk. It even has a small hidden trunk in the bed. Perfect vehicle for me!

A spectacular vehicle

It is a vehicle that brings together many great features, such as driving assistance, cabin design, aggressive lines on its exterior, creative arrangement of the headlights, tires according to its design, outstanding elements such as the cooler inside the trunk. But the trunk filters the water. Impossible to safely carry items there, as they will surely end up wet. Either by rain or washing the truck. And after approximately 50 miles per hour there is a whistling noise that for me is unbearable.

Ok truck, poor performance.

Eats fuel like a bigger more powerful vehicle. Poor acceleration on the highway!!! Range is way too short for highway driving. locked storage/cooler in bed doesn't keep ice cold. Refuses to download contacts from phone.

Thus far I haven't had any problems. If I do, I will bring it to the dealership and Hyundai will be notified. The only minor problem is the manual, which is written too broad and not for the soecific vehicle. I am old school, and I don't use the electronic equipment that is available (bluetooth, sirus, etc)

good vehicle overall, however expensive

sel could up the base horsepower. controls on steering wheel (toggle type) require you to look at them when using. blind spot and lane safety features are good. comfortable vehicle to drive and ride as a passenger.

Pleasantly surprised

This is my first non domestic vehicle in 50 years. The small details are numerous and well appreciated. Floor mats that don’t move. Lighting where you need it. The performance, handling, comfort and economy all exceeded my expectations.

Santa Cruz is great truck. Lane assist and warning systems prefect for me who is disabled. The trunk lid protects your groceries from sun and theft. Love the in bed ice chest storage for day at beach or for fishing.

Santa Cruz

Overall, this car is a blast. I would recommend to people looking for fun, style and comfort. Gets a lot of looks, (I upgraded the wheels, tires and some other elements) and not a day goes by where I am not stopped and asked about the car. I have owned over 30 cars, and haven't gotten this many 'thumbs ups' on the road or people asking me about it since my Lotus Esprit driving days.

A great looking perfect small truck that feels safe.

High quality exterior and interior design. Excellent safety driving features, Probably the only truck that fits easily in my garage yet has all the carrying ability I need. It has the optional activity package for carrying a kayak. Fun to drive on often gets admiring looks.

Good looking adventure vehicle

This car is great so far, comfortable and has get up and go. People ask what it is and take pictures because it's unique. Have had no problems with it so far but with the warranty they have even if I do I know I will be taken care of!

Best compact truck by a mile

Build quality and styling are much better than the closest competitor which I also ordered but decided not to take delivery of once it arrived. Hyundai has come a long way and it shows in the models they are now bring to market.
