Some simple things make it a not so great experience

Seems sturdy enough and the 4 1/2 bed is more useful than you might think. Hyundai requires you to activate the advance guidance and auto high beams each time the car is started.

Rides nice. Wish there was a CD player. A little gutless. Cruise control doesn't work well if there is any wind or a small hill.

2024 Dante Cruz

The car handles and rides great. The controls and safety feature work wonderful. The design is better than any other small truck . Downside I question the reliability of the vehicle. At 2500 miles ( 2500 ) the transmission went out. I loss my confidence to take the car on a long trip. The last I want is to be stranded on the side of a interstate for hours.

I like the Santa Cruz and how it handles. Three rating reflexs my dispute with the warranty dealing under carrige cover which broke off at the retaining bolt.

I guess it's OK...

For as large as a car as it is, very cramped interior space both front & back. Cheap wrinkly outer sheet metal doors as on a sunny day it really shows, black color certainly doesn't help. Aggravating/annoying interior computer vocal warnings and alarms stating the obvious. And extreme fidgeting by the driver to shut them off. Decent overall power and handling. Good breaks. Heavy steering. Relatively quiet interior, seats are decent however whole interior scratches extremely easily, even with the most cautious handling.

Love my hobbit truck

Having the base model it is nice though drivers seat not comfortable at all. I had to put a cover on bed which works well as well as window deflectors as even a crack open in rain you get soaked. Engine/transmission gets goofy at times as well cruise control will stop you from accelerating if you bump it while turning so a bit of a nuisance. Love that it is a truck yet still a car 🙂

No heat in the winter

I have had no heat in this truck since buying it. I always let my vehicle heat up for at least 10 minutes when it is 32 or below. I ahve never had a vehicle that did not have heat by then But this one took at least half an hour to give any heat at all!! And when it was below zero took an hour then when I stopped or slowed down it would start blowing cold air!!

Great at some things, aweful at others

I bought this vehicle because of a need to tow. In that respect, it has exceeded my expectations. However, there are a few flaws that would make me think twice about replacing it with another one. The first is that the safety features give false warnings repeatedly. I've even experienced Phantom braking events. Very unsafe. The next most annoying aspect is there's no pass-through from the bed to the passenger compartment. Because of this it's difficult to carry something longer than 5 feet.

Wonderful truck just some issues

Beware sometimes your differential will act up due to the AWD system so it throws you back into your seat a little or you hear a grind when you slowly release your break then re break
