Surprising and Versatile - Try it
First, I moved from a Crew Cab Tundra to the Santa Cruz. What an enormous change! I am not disappointed and have been very pleased with my Santa Cruz. It is so nice and full of surprises that I'm not sure where to start. Maybe with Hyundai Motors. Just look at the quality; Just look at the color options! Most manufacturers have a few basic colors. Hyundai has awesome unique colors. My Santa Cruz is blue. Is it worth the extra $500 for the special blue paint? You bet it is! The paint looks 'deep' and so shinny. There is no other vehicle on the road even close in color. Mine is the only blue one I have seen since I purchased mine. There are so many features and many that I never guessed a truck would have them. For example, the rear back up camera has 3 different focal settings. I can touch a button and look down on the trailer hitch for hooding up a trailer. I can touch button again and get a wide angle view to ensure nothing in the way when backing a trailer. How cool is that! The interior is awesome. Some folks don't like the different colors of black and textures. I find them incredible and well though out. When I saw the first photos of the Santa Cruz, I think in around 2020, I was taken by the styling. The lines of this truck are striking. There's just something about the curves, shapes, and textures. Well done Hyundai. It took me 4 years to finally buy a Santa Cruz and I'm glad I ended up with a 2025 model. There are so many nice upgrades on the 2025. Like the WIDE screen video interface, nearly 3/4 of the dash width. Maps are a foot wide! And it is a super nice touch screen with so many features and options. I wish there was a way I could summarize how nice this truck is but all I can say is go drive one. Read and research one. You will be sold as well. I do have a complaint. The human/computer interface has many, many features. My SEL model does not have all the features as maybe an XRT or Limited. Why? The owner's manual describes features but not all are included on the SEL. How is an owner suppose to know that features his model has? I'm betting it is a simple programming function. All models should have all the features. This is a simple problem and given everything else that is so extraordinary on the Santa Cruz, I hate to mention anything critical. I recommend everyone get one of these. Just don't get a blue one and move near me!
