Hard to get used to

This is a very functional and comfortable truck. My one complaint is the way it changes gears..the engine revs, shifts, loses some power and then continues. Ive. been told by the dealer that this is a "smart" function and that since the truck has 8 gears is does it often...Its off putting but I am getting used to it.

Satisfied, yet issues were expected.....

The Good: The correct color. Handles well. Love the bluelink. Lights brighter than the reviews said. Plenty of power. Bed space adequate..... Bad points: My auto windshield wiper function does not work. There is a glass scratch on the underside of my sunroof. I was expecting front recovery tow hooks. Under the wheel wells and some undercarraige panels are some kind of fabric that IS NOT plastic, rubber, or metal. Shame they wouldn't downgrade from the leather to the fabric seats I wanted. Overall,.....as long as there are no recalls, I'm happy. Hopes: a closer maintenance shop or authorized tech.

Santa Cruz Frustration

I spent nearly $1000 to have a trailer hitch wire harness installed to send power to the rear on the vehicle to connect to a trailer hitch receiver. This should have been when the car was built like it is in most trucks.

A good vehicle with adequate performance and features

The vehicle is good overall but a number of software enabled features should be available in all trim packages including: automated cruise control distance keeping, backup side traffic warning, automatic wipers, automatic highbeam control and automatically closing windows and sunroof when remotely locking vehicle.

Utility in a small-ish package

Front seat room is great, rear is fine assuming you're not equipped with legs. The non-turbo is distinctly underpowered, but on the plus side it's getting over the advertised MPG. The turning circle is enormous. Coming from a sporty small CUV, the fun factor is non-existent but the utility factor is 100% more.

Trim package accessories came up short based on the cost of 37k.

For 37K the SLE activity package should have more features than it does. It is a shame that we get a plastic steering wheel, the passenger seat does not offer electric adjustments and the seats are not ventilated.
