Santa Cruz

Unfortunately, my truck was at another dealer s I tried a truck at the dealership which I thought it was the same truck as I was getting. Well, it wasn’t and I fell in love with the Limited version and so I’m just buying time until I can exchange for a limited version.

Sharp looking and drives really smooth

Everything is nice except the headlight system. Terrible illumination. Way too low of line of vision. The "V" design in the line of vision is terribly distracting. If I test drove my new 2025 at night. I would not have purchased just because of the headlight system. Period

Nice vehicle, terrible Bluelink support

I like my Santa Cruz. There was a problem with the Bluelink from the beginning. It would not work at the dealership. I tried for several months to get it resolved but it is still unresolved. They continue to ask me for paperwork and say they tried calling but they didn’t. I am done with this. I guess I will just drive my truck without the full capacity that I paid for. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m 66 years old and have purchased many new vehicles. Never have I been treated this way. Never has I had no solid effort to get the problem resolved. Pitiful!!!

Does not have enough power for me, rides like a low end 4 cylinder vehicle, for being brand new you would expect some power drive behind it, cant imagine how it will run 2 years from now

I don't really understand review title as to what exactly it means

Other than seat seems low on the front,and head rest in the back seem to block veiw, and not so smooth ride on back roads,over all I still like it.

The safety brake feature can cause an accident

I understand that the safety brake feature is meant to avoid a potential auto collision, but the sensors are extremely sensitive and have almost gotten me rear ended on the freeway twice due to the harsh stop. This makes me feel uncomfortable in the car.

First time truck style purchase

The look of the vehicle is great. It is not as comfortable (soft/smooth ) as a reg SUV ...I purchased vehicle without a bed cover ...since the backseat seems small (tall people pushing the front seats all the way back ) ...a extra storage area requires a bed cover. The engine idling is not as quiet as a reg SUV

1st new hyundai purchase

Car has poor finish quality. Paint has two significant runs I didn't see until after leaving the lot. The front end has a MAJOR design flaw. Large openings in the lower bottom of the grill leaves the radiator core open to damage from road debris kicked up by other car's tires. The trim over the wheel wells lacks good fit and finish, and has visible gaps between the car body. When washing the car, water accumulates on the INSIDE bottom of the door.

Sound stopped working

The sound stopped working with no reason. Bluetooth doesn't work for the phone, music (Spotify or YouTube), or maps. Tried turning off and on again. Tried turning Bluetooth off and on. Nothing is working. Radio sound doesn't work. I hate driving with no music and I need directions from the map

Hyundai needs to correct possible deadly malfunction.

Serious problem. May cause death and serious injury. Needs to be seriously addressed by a trained mechanic. Computer did not find any problem. Almost in an accident due to problem.

Vehicle is just average

Vehicle is average, nothing fancy for what they charge for the car, hugely under powered and way too small of gas tank, spend more time at gas station than driving. Mileage is way worse than advertised as any wind, hill it can not climb. Back seat too small to fit adults so don't plan on having and back seat passengers over the age of 10....Car seat may not even fit

Issues with brand new Santa Cruz

Bought brand new, brakes squeek and brake pedal. When first turned on heat would not work. When heat on leg then turn to combo with chest. heat does not come out.

The Bottom Line

This is a nice truck, however, it is not the one I was given. He took my truck to gas it up and I was given a different vehicle to take home. I’m 57 and this is my first time buying a vehicle, I really wish I could have trusted the people to make it the best experience possible. Even the tires look used! There is no CD Player and I feel forced to bring a brand new vehicle in before the suggested 7000 mile checkup.
