I purchased this vehicle 8/25, I have attempted to have it repaired 4 times and haven't had it in possession since early September. The easy way out would have been for Hyundai, Hyundai of Bedford or this faulty arbitration process to just replace the vehicle. After three months should I have any confidence in this product or team.

26 vs 34

Mistake to trade my 23 for a 26. The 23 was far superior to the stripped down model I ended up with. The 23 developed fuel issues and I traded. Bad mistake. Did not make a good deal on the purchased. The 26 is not nearly the vehicle the 23 was. Will be trading in before 50k miles

It’s ok, nothing more

I leased this as a practical option in lieu of a pick up because my mother has mobility issues and can’t get into a truck. I like having the truck bed, it's what pushed me over to this vehicle. I’d never buy a Hyundai. They’re still not high quality vehicles. The seats are PVC…the back seats don’t fold down…& that little window on the back windshield? Awful. It’s dangerous. It obstructs your view. And all the safety features? How about putting more into passenger comfort? The interior is black, shiny, & very hard to keep clean. I asked for gray interior. I got gray seats. Bait & switch. I’ll deal with it for 36 months. Overall, the vehicle isn’t terrible, but it’s not a vehicle I’d buy.

Don't buy

Only buy if you are deaf because you will not be able to hear any conversations, music while driving. Not buying another and considering trading in for another small pickup similar in size. Only 3100 miles on it. Underpowered too

windows height is a problem

At a drive thru window (the bank, the pharmacy) where I have to put something in or take out of drawer, I have found that the bottom of window appears to be highter and I cannot reach out to the drawer. I literally have to open door and reach into drawer. I am 5"4".

Almost perfect

Vehicle is great EXCEPT I want to turn off the forward collision assistance PERMANENTLY but can’t. It is garbage and unnecessary. When I turn on the vehicle, I want to bypass the “user select” screen as I’m through one that drives it. Waste of my time waiting for it to load. And now, after an update, I have to select okay on a SECOND screen to finally get to the maps and music and everything. Get rid of these terrible things. Please, for the love of god.

Everything so far is good! The display is not very nice looking at the start and than you have to change display several times to be able to see what song. and who is singing.

Great Truck

I am very happy with my Santa Cruz. It’s very nicely appointed g for being a base model. The only issues I have are the price and that you can’t lock the vehicle without the fob.

I like it a lot- the back seat is VERY SMALL- it would help with overall roominess “when traveling “ - If the back part of the backseat would fold frontwards that would be a great option and unique to all other small trucks. Remember you heard it here first- so if y’all are smart enough to listen & make that happen in the future, please give me credit for it

I'm the happiest with this model and I have owned 3 other models

The style of this vehicle, the fit finishes are some of the best that I've experienced with Hyundai. I just wish there was a little bit more room in the backseat because I'm a plus size girl, the driver seat is pushed all the way back and it only leaves about five or 6 inches of knee space which means no one can sit behind me.

Fun to drive vehicle.

I love my new Santa Cruz. I would recommend fixing the power off option on the ac/heat. If I turn it off, it should completely turn off, it doesn't. A power rear window is more practical due to the fact the driver cannot open and close it while driving. The automatic opener is convenient for the tailgate; I would add a close option as well. Other than that, it's a wonderful truck.
