Great modern vehicle with lots of extras

The vehicle is great. Love the smooth ride and all of the electronic features. Pirelli tires in the calligraphy model sick. I have 14,000 miles and have had one bad tire at 7,000 that the dealer wouldn’t even look at and now just had another. Only fault of the interior is the back seat heat vents are super tiny and on the door handles, so very small and not much heat blows. Kids are always cold in the back, thankfully my captains seats have heated option.

Above average experince

Car rides well on interstate trips and is comfortable. Behaves well in the city and is fairly nimble It does not possess the torque of our 2010 V6 Santa Fe limited and there is definitely a delay when accelerating (ie: from the time you press down on the accelerator to the time the car actually accelerates). Gas mileage is just OK on the highway. and good around town. Engine sounds somewhat "tinny" at times (Schomp Hyundai said it is a 4 cylinder as opposed to a performance engine of larger displacement). Front seat seat belt receivers need to be re-positioned as it is difficult to make the connection.

Mostly very good

Overall the Santa Fe is comfortable and pleasant to drive on both long and short drives. It is not especially nimble so slow way down in the increasingly common round a bouts! When making a sharp turn the support post by the driver window blocks the view some so you might clip something. Hybrid gas milage is decent averaging 32-35mpg, occasionally higher or lower depending on conditions. Very smooth transfer between hybrid and gas engine power. Plenty of room for 2d row passengers and "stuff" in the back but would rather have a full spare than the 3d seat. Large flat front console is very handy. Quieter than many vehicles we cross shopped. If you are short, beware the back hatch. After stretching to reach the button you must quickly move away to keep from getting hit by the massive liftgate. Styling is a matter of taste. We call it "the brick". If you get the army green you may be able to blend into National Guard convoy! It has a very effective "hey, you left the kid in the car" alarm. I had to figure out how to disable it after the horn kept blaring when I ran into the store and left the dog in the car! The Santa Fe is a very nice big ,but not too big SUV.

Affordable Luxury!

I love driving this car and now wish I had got the 12k miles lease. The interior is Luxurious! I love all the materials and excellent quality. The seats are comfortable and love all the features. I especially love the ventilated and heated seats and the infotainment screen, Lean back completely and the relaxation mode. Lighting is fun too. The drive assist features make drives a breeze and enjoyable. This car is such a smooth ride and love road trips in it. I feel safe driving this car. My favorite car so far ! There's a few tweaks and changes that could make this best in its class which I've noted in the cons. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase !

Great Vehicle - It's New Though

I actually love my Santa Fe Hybrid. Looks sharp, rides smooth, no issues so far. A few interior items I would change if I could, but minor. Nothing to do with performance. I dont like the way the fan comes randomly on after you have parked and turned off the car. It runs longer than I think it should. Also be wary of your dealer. Not impressed with my dealership at all.

We love the clean lines of the exterior of our car. The inside is very roomy and feature rich. We are glad we got the hybrid and in town we typically get around 34 MPG and on long trips 38.

Poor performance and rapid wear

2025 Sta Fe Calligraphy-Hybrid performs poorly and shows accelerated wear. A major repair (EV system failed) with only 4 k miles and had to replace 3 tires at just 9k miles (had to pay full price). Road Assistance App is a joke, 1. towing truck never arrived, and 2. after a call to the service, it took 3 more hours. Thus, I was stranded for a total of 6 hours. Hyundai does not offer a spare tire kit (nor a place in the car where to store it). I had to buy a third party spare tire set for 650 USD!

Great car for the value

I’ve had this car for a year now. It drives well is very comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because at exactly one yr had the battery was dead and we had no idea why and also the automatic chair was not working and they had to replace the track. Other than that the car has been grey and I’m hoping nothing else presents itself.
