Well thought out vehicle

We never owned or driven a Santa Fe. We owned a Tuscan sel. Which we really like as well. Now being retired and taking road trips. We needed more room. So we decided on taking one on a road test. I really liked it. Now my wife really likes it.

SF ‘26 Calligraphy

Drives like a dream; sings like a choir of angels!

I love this car. I swear it floats over the road! And when you put it in reverse, the sound you hear is like a choir of angels. That's what my kids and I call it, anyway! I have no regrets at all. I love driving this car!

Have been driving it for 2 months. Mileage is pretty good but not as high as advertised. The backup camera glitched twice but then fixed itself. Still learning about the bells and whistles.

The climate controls are dangerous.

The climate controls force you to take your eyes off the road for extended periods of time. To change any settings, you have to look at see exactly where you are touching, and even then, half the time it doesn't register. The auto breaking is sometimes too aggressive, had the car slam on the breaks while i was trying to merge over, it almost caused an accident because it braked while merging with oncoming traffic. Had it also slam on the breaks while in a drive through, as i pulled up behind the car in front.

2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy model

I am extremely satisfied with the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid we purchased in March. The ride is very comfortable and the handling is superb. I particularly like the Heads Up display, the lane keeping system and the adaptive cruise control.

Too many unnecessary options

After 4 months I still can’t figure out how to put it in neutral ( for the car wash ) Sometimes the AC comes on when I’m not in the car. So many beeps that happen for no reason. And a lot of cracking and creaking noises comes from the main console when going over bumps.
