What gives with the transmission!!

The verdict is still out on Reliability and Build Quality. The TRANSMISSION HAS ALREADY BEEN REPLACED IN THIS CAR AFTER 1,600 MILES. It is back at the dealer again with continuing issues. We have always enjoyed Hyundai products that we have owned in the past and have promoted your product. I hope our selection of a hybrid has not been a mistake.

2 months and 2 service trips

Purchased October 27, 2025 First service visit: December 15–18, 2025 Second service visit: December 29, 2025 – January 8, 2026 Brand new vehicle Since the purchase, the vehicle has been making a loud and concerning noise that has not been resolved despite two separate service visits at different dealership locations. The issue persists and continues to impact my confidence in the safety and reliability of the vehicle. Unfortunately, after both appointments, the problem remains unresolved. Per last service report “ could not reduplicate”; however, June 9th I personally drove the vehicle and noice is present. A google search shows it’s an issue expressed by many

Stay away, Google reviews about vibration, before purchasing

Day one vibration while driving. Dealer can’t fix it . Dealer changed rear driveshaft , a set of new tires, 4wd coupler , balanced tires twice , road force balanced once . I put a new set of rims on it in the hopes that would do it , 1200.00 waste of money . Do your research before you buy a Santa Fe.

Battery died after driving 2k miles, parked inside garage

I had to call road side assistance twice while my car was parked inside the garage. The reason was a bad battery given to us either via dealership or the manufacturer upon purchasing a brand new vehicle.

Gas mileage is not as advertised

Pretty car but for the money if Im not going to get the hybrid gas mileage advertised its not worth it. If they lie about that in my opinion I have no faith in the brand.

Recently purchase a new Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy. Less than 400 miles later it’s in the shop. It’s now been in the shop 3 weeks. Second time with similar problem. No resolution.

Good Car, Bad Tires and Annoying Features

I bought the Limited version of the Hyundai Santa Fe at the end of November 2025. Overall, I like the car—it’s comfortable, looks great, and drives well. Unfortunately, the tire quality has been very disappointing. After only about 1,000 miles, by mid-February 2026, two tires on the left side developed bubbles on the sidewalls. This is very concerning for such a new vehicle. The dealer and tire manufacturer both refused to cover the issue, so I had to replace all four tires out of pocket, which was an unexpected expense. After doing some research, I found that other Santa Fe owners have reported similar problems with the original tires, so this doesn’t seem like an isolated case. I still like the car, but this issue—and the lack of support—definitely hurt my overall experience. I’d recommend keeping a close eye on the tires or considering replacing them early.

Unreliable

We have had to have our vehicle towed multiple times with multiple extended stays in the shop for issues ranging from the battery to the water pump to the steering column. We still haven't been reimbursed for rental car expenses and no one at Hyundai cares about the time this has taken away from our schedules.

I bought the brand new santafe with lot of expectations but I am very much disappointed and I have lot of concerns and problems. Wireless charging is a problem Steering control assistant is a problem Miles estimate does show correctly most of the times Blind spot assistant doesn’t work well all the time The boat is so delicate, on highway car shakes a lot And there many more problems
