Love it with some reservations
The car is stable, roomy, VERY comfortable with clean lines inside and out. We appreciate ALL the features (mileage, size, clear & wide view with minimal blind spots). We DO NOT LIKE the following.
1) The 2.25" hitch and towing load is sweet. Making a car with that towing capacity WITHOUT A TOWING MODE to turn off cross traffic/pedestrian automatic braking is irresponsible. I was advised to (not kidding) remove the trailer/platform basket when I wanted to back up. We can turn off the auto braking feature each time we start the car but still have to back up while listening to loud alarms wailing throughout the backing process.
2) Taking the car through a pull-through car wash is terrifying. The brakes lock. The warning sirens wail. Again, there's no quick and simple, dependable way to disarm the auto braking. You can hand wash. you can use ineffective car washes. You cannot use a pull-through washing system.
3) Driving in heavy cross winds and buffeting winds DOES HAVE an OCCASIONAL self-correct system...OCCASIONALLY it is in effect. CONSISTENTLY you get a distracting alarm SUGGESTING you pull over and rest. We cannot always chose when we need to get somewhere in perfect weather. High winds are common and often not predicted. The stability feature needs to be more responsive and NOT engaged for a few moments only. It also needs to "talk with" the drowsy driver alarm. LAST THING A DRIVER NEEDS IN LESS THAN IDEAL CONDITIONS IS CONSTANT ALARMS and FLASHING LIGHTS ON THE DASH.
