What gives with the transmission!!

The verdict is still out on Reliability and Build Quality. The TRANSMISSION HAS ALREADY BEEN REPLACED IN THIS CAR AFTER 1,600 MILES. It is back at the dealer again with continuing issues. We have always enjoyed Hyundai products that we have owned in the past and have promoted your product. I hope our selection of a hybrid has not been a mistake.

2 months and 2 service trips

Purchased October 27, 2025 First service visit: December 15–18, 2025 Second service visit: December 29, 2025 – January 8, 2026 Brand new vehicle Since the purchase, the vehicle has been making a loud and concerning noise that has not been resolved despite two separate service visits at different dealership locations. The issue persists and continues to impact my confidence in the safety and reliability of the vehicle. Unfortunately, after both appointments, the problem remains unresolved. Per last service report “ could not reduplicate”; however, June 9th I personally drove the vehicle and noice is present. A google search shows it’s an issue expressed by many

Stay away, Google reviews about vibration, before purchasing

Day one vibration while driving. Dealer can’t fix it . Dealer changed rear driveshaft , a set of new tires, 4wd coupler , balanced tires twice , road force balanced once . I put a new set of rims on it in the hopes that would do it , 1200.00 waste of money . Do your research before you buy a Santa Fe.

Brand new 26' Gone Horribly wrong

My 6th Hyundai and 4th Santa Fe & 2nd Santa Fe Hybrid--since leaving the showroom--it's been a complete disaster, too much to fully explain unless I can get a phone call from someone I can understand, please! I have THREE highly defective tires and have been to the service center 5 times-now they want me to drive my car with unsafe, dangerous tires back to my original dealership 175 miles away...HELPPPP!!!

Poor Designed venhicle

The console modules of '26 version vs. the '24 version is a major step back. In the '24 version, the icons were lighted and easy to see, no so in the latest version. The coffee cup supposed safety feature is a terrible feature, often going off without any reason. It drives me crazy. The ' 24 version only beeped once while the '26 version beeps five times - why? Very annoying and distracting to passengers. It's a terrible and unnecessary feature and your dealer won't fix it. I will be looking for another brand to trade this piece of crap in.

I thought It Would Be Great

Something is wrong with the transmission. If I try to step on the gas, it skips. I took it to Hyundai and they said nothing’s wrong. Also, There’s something sticking me in my back on the drivers side seat.

Santa Fe

Love the car but I can't give it 5 stars because after having it for 2 months it broke down at 1:00 am and it had to be towed to the dealer. This was on a Friday night so I had to rent a car for the weekend. It was repaired Monday morning and I was thrilled with the service. If not for the breakdown I would have given it 5+ stars. Jonny Guerrero was the service advisor who took care of it and he was great. 10 stars for him.

Santa Fe Hybrid

The powertrain option in the vehicle is very disappointing. The 1.6T with electric motor and 6-speed transmission is not a reliable option for this vehicle due to size and weight. This vehicle should come standard with the same powertrain as the Palisade Hybrid. The vehicle lacks power and comfort. At highway speeds of 75 mph+, the engine revs excessively high at 2500 rpm’s and up. I’m still waiting to see the mpg rating of 34 on the highway. The mpg rating is over inflated by the manufacturer. I suspect the 1.6T will not last running those high rpm’s.
