2008 Santa Fe Limited

2008 Santa Fe Limited has been a problem child. Meaning that from day 1 it was ill fitted with "Running Board" ordered at time of purchase. It was to be FULLY equipped, it wasn't (Luggage Racks were not given and told it was in the deal). GAS Mileage was another LIE (It get 14 in the City & if lucky 15 on the Highway (if LUCKY). The TIRES didn't get 15,000 miles, Drivers seat began to wear, Rubber molding around ALL the doors not glued and were NOT installed properly! Radiator & Transmission had to be Replaced, Brakes twice. And all of this and the Santa Fe only has of today 65,750 miles.

Santa Fe

Overall vehicle is good; very disappointed from own experience as well as from other owners I know, as well as researching On Internet, the huge failure rate of the fuel sensor gauges and lack of a recall due to apparently a faulty part. Almost $600 repair needed to fix and it sounds common enough that should have been a recall.

Love my Santa Fe

The Santa Fe is a perfect fit for someone wanting an SUV that is not cramped like the compacts and not a gas hog like the full size. I enjoy the smooth ride, the user friendly console and the space available when the seats are down for cargo. I LOVE the cupholders. I know that sounds ridiculous, but you can put ANYTHING in them and it fits. I have an older one and have had some repairs here and there, but nothing majorly expensive. Had some frustrating issues until I had some recalls taken care of. I recently looked at trading in for something different. I looked at Subaru, Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4 and really nothing is as comfortable as my Santa Fe. The Sport model is now what is compatible with my '08 model. I'm going to drive her till I can't. She is paid off, dependable and still attractive!

A dream to drive; solid..

I love everything about the Santa Fe except for two con's 1. The drivers seat is mounted too high, and can't be lower enough. I have hit my head on the door frame getting in many times. You can power raise the seat on the Limited but not lower it enough for my taste. 2. You have no way of opening the rear hatch from the inside of the vehicle. Nice feature to have especially in an emergency. I have had GMC's for years all with this feature.

Love my 2008 Santa Fe

This is the best all around vehicle I have ever owned. My avg gas mileage is @ 17mpg which is the only downside of this vehicle. Because of the comfort and versatility, I have never found good reason to trade in on another vehicle.

Most trouble Free car I've Ever ownded.

This is by far the most reliable, trouble free vehicle I've ever owned. The only thing ever to go wrong with it has been a defective TPS,(Throttle Position Sensor), which was covered under warranty. The quality far exceeded my expectations right down to the feel of the turn signal stalk and inner door handle feel of operation to the interior quality, exterior paint and design and use of space and the drivetrain ability.

My wonderful vehicle.

I had to rent a vehicle while in Florida and the vehicle I was given had a broken seat. The rental company had no other small vehicles so they gave me a Hyundai Santa Fe. That's all it took. I knew my next car was going to be a Santa Fe. That was in 2008 and I have never been disappointed. It's been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned and when the time comes to get a new vehicle, it will be another Santa Fe.

I bought my Santa Fe new in 2008, Amazing vehicle, reliable, tough, 105,000. roomy, handles all types of roads and weather including deep snow, (it is an AWD). Things to make sure you are OK with, Blue dash board lighting, hard to see with sunglasses on . What I like over previous crv's, lit controls on the steering wheel. I feel it will go another 100K without major problems.

Great ride but reliability shows with time

Great ride and perfect size but some reliability issues start to show with time. Had to replace steering system, fuel monitoring system, and minor issues with heating/ac. These repairs were not covered by warranty and were over $2000. I also had engine problem $1500 but luckily this was covered under warranty. The leather seats have also started to split.
