Practical, comfortable transportation

With the exception of the cruise control problem which Hyundai corporate and Zimbrick dealt with to my satisfaction, our 2009 Santa Fe Limited has been a great vehicle. Plenty of power and easy to drive. It is the definition of what a midsize SUV should be. We can haul stuff with the seats down and still be comfortable. We will replace it with another Santa Fe in all probability.

NC to ND It was Awesome

I have got the best service ever from my Santa Fe. Not knowing when I chose it in NC that I was moving to ND for almost 4 yrs it went in snow, blizzards and wind storms with no problems. We have all scheduled maintenance done promptly which I think is the key. Would choose it again !!

2009 Santa Fe Great Purchase

We replaced on older model Ford Explorer with the cash for clunker program. Santa Fe is very best SUV for the money. Still looks brand new, very comfortable ride. Maintenance costs most reasonable. We always receive compliments. Would buy one again but this one is still like driving a new car.

2009 Hyundai Santa Fe

This vehicle was purchased new, part of the "trade clunkers for cash" program. I let go of a Dodge Dakota pick up that I was very close with. At the time of purchase my family consisted of myself, my wife, our son (handicapped 33 yrs) and two hurricane Katrina rescue dogs @ age 4. It now has 84,600 miles on it. My biggest mistake was getting the beige interior. Shows to much dirt plus wear & tear. Dogs own the back, the rear seats stay down, we keep a queen size futon covering the back area. I still like how easy it is getting in and out of this vehicle. Hate when I go to the dealership and get a loaner. I just have to bend and twist too much to get into those loaner car seats these days.

Great car with a solid warranty.

I bought my car four months old from the original owner who had put 4k miles on it because she didn't like it. As the second owner, I received a 5 year, 60k mile warranty instead of the standard 10 year, 100k mile warranty that an original owner receives. However Hyundai still notifies me of any recalls and honors all the recall work. I now have 123k miles and the car is in great shape.

Love My Santa Fe

My 2009 Santa Fe replaced a Honda Passport. It has been and still is reliable, easy to drive, no drastic problems. Mine has a V6 and can handle traffic on the interstate. I love it!

Fantastic!

It has been and continues to be a great car! I've had it about 7-8 years and it still drives beautifully. It is also great at toting my motor scooter, rollators, etc. of course my fur babies are also very comfortable whether on a short trip or longer excursions! I recommend it highly!

Good SUV

I have my Hyundai Santa Fe since 2009 and few problems have raised but none with the motor or major problems. My problems have been ABS light, tire pressure light or Esc lights that came on and stayed on. Also I had a problem with the gas door opening, the switch at the door fail on me. All of these problems were fixed by Hyundai leaders. I always take my SUV to them. I have 92,000 miles now and the care is in excellent condition, of course except for wear and tear. Some of this services I have been charged for it but I don't mind because they do a great job and they know the car.

Love my car

I love my car. I bought it new and it still drives like a dream. This car has been up and down the east coast and has gone through some rough weather and terrains. Yet, after all these years she is still going places. It is roomy and can fit too many things. My husband tends to forget its not a truck and likes to haul things in it and on it. It is good point and drive car (with the sun roof open). A good family car (I have 2 car seats in it - for my grandsons) and we have driven to Florida in it. Also a good "truck" for when hubby needs it to be a "truck". Keep in mind it is a 2009 and it is a dream.

Not my best car

I have NEVER had a car that I have had to replace so many light bulbs. Why? Also why is the paint coming off, This has never happened to me before either, and I keep my card for many years before trading. This one will be gone as soon as it's paid off. I like the car but not all the repairs.
