Santa Fe review

We have had the Santa Fe since 2010. It has been a superb vehicle for the money. It does everything we have asked it to do. It's as comfortable as a sedan (we also own a sonata) and the ride is excellent. This is true so much so that we are taking it instead of the Sonata on a 2000 mile road trip.

Love my Santa Fe

The only reason I didn't give this vehicle 5 stars is that it doesn't have a rear view camera, and it's a little hard to keep the interior looking great.

Well made vehicle

Our Santa Fe has been very reliable. We have had no problems at all. It drives and rides very well. It has a good engine and feels very solid. Even though it is 8 yrs old it is a very good looking vehicle.

My Hyundai Santa Fe has been very dependable with no problems at all. It handles well and rides good on the highway. The mileage is comparable to other SUV's and I love the exterior color (Dark Cherry).

I've had this car since 2009. I spent a long time looking for a smaller AWD car with lots of room for 4 adults and with a terrific warranty and good reputation. I've been very happy with this car. I love the way it drives, it is so smooth.

2009 Hyundai Sante Fe

Overall, I have had a good experience with this vehicle, albeit not great gas mileage. However, at about 32,000 miles my fuel indicator stopped working, and I think this should have been a recall issue since I have read many posts that this has happened on 2009 Santa Fe vehicles.

Only had minor issues that you would with any other vehicle. Super comfortable to drive, decent gas mileage for an SUV, dependable for sure, second KIA/Hyundai I've owned, both were great cars . I would definitely purchase another

2009 Santa Fe

This vehicle has taken me to Canada, Wisconsin, and New York several times each year. It is a comfortable touring car and has hauled lots of luggage, tools, and even a 1948 vintage Sears Coldspot I picked up in Wisconsin. Good mileage, great handling, a tight turning radius, for easy U turns. Acceleration is confident when threading the pack on I 95 or I 4. Only issues are the gas gauge has not worked for years, so I use the trip meter, and I would like to see an accessible fuel filter. As of March of 2018, it still looks and feels like the day I bought it new.

Still love my Santa Fe!

Very well handling, quick & responsive and not too bad on the eyes. My only issues are minor things. The $700 Navigation package was trash, even after paying to update it when the car was just off the lot. No USB connections because of the Navigation package. Complete Stereo/Navigation started having an intermittent problem after five years and was replaced. Due to the non-standard size of the navigation package, NO ONE makes the correct parts to make the new stereo look like it was factory installed! Paint has come off the areas in-between the windows and the dealership told me too bad when it was 5 years old. It is garage kept and THEY did the deluxe car care and waxing every year. I have had some minor problems but Hyundai took care of them. Overall, I still feel safe and feel that my car will take me where I want to go and back too.

Our 2009 Santa Fe has been a great vehicle for us. The size gives us plenty of room and it is a comfortable vehicle that handles well and gets good gas mileage. We had always driven Jeep Grand Cherokees in the past, and bought the Santa Fe to try something different. The vehicle is well made, has given us good service, and we love the sunroof. It now has 113,000 miles, and we plan to keep our Santa Fe as our 2nd car. It is still in fine shape! Hyundai was a good choice for us.

My Favorite Vehicle I've Owned so Far

The SUV has plenty of horsepower to get you going fast on the highway, very roomy and comfortable in front and back. Back seats can lay back if passengers need to nap on those long road trips. Back seats can also lay forward to move furniture, mulch, anything to your hearts desire . . . immeasurably helpful. Had the car rustproofed to ensure it maintains its durability and beauty.
