Not worth the money

Over priced, has no remote start. Turning on the phone through app blue link is time consuming. The apply play does not connect all the time. The screen at times stays black doesn’t turn on. Using blue link the start car app starts your car when hazards lights

Disappointed

Sorry I purchased this car. It doesn't shift smoothly and the dealership says there is nothing wrong with it. When trying to change lanes or merge, I've been stuck with the engine revving with no power while it tries to decide what gear it should be in. Dangerous and scary

Do a thorough test drive!

Extreamly noisey ride. Wind buffeting loud noise at 50+ mph. Soft breaks. Sitting at a stop sign, pedal goes to the floor. Rattling noisy engine. Service department more concerned with up selling than fixing the actual problem.

2019 Santa fe

Hyundai needs to focus more on the engine/transmission. The upgrades to exterior and interior are nice but don’t make up for the poor quality of the engine/transmission and the constant fear of breaking down.

Nice car with an unreliable engine

Modern engines don't have rod knocks and total failures at 70000 miles. Most engines wil. last 150 - 200 thousand miles and don't require constant examination (rod knock sensor) Frequent maintenance (the dealer's doing) and recalls

Loud exhaust and display keeps freezing up

Going back to the dealer again tomorrow for our display freezing on the Hyundai logo. Aggravated that I’ve had it a month and this continues to happen. What’s up with no remote start?!! That sucks!! Was told we could get it then after the purchase was told you can’t have it on the Santa Fe later. Very disappointed in this purchase!!

Makes alot of noise with acceleration. Dont like the center controls by drive/park shifter. My dog touches while I am driving. Love the rear hatch automatic open / close. Changing lane safety features are great.

HAVE BEEN TO DEALERSHIP 4 TIMES ITS A 64 ROUND TRIP TO DEALERSHIP. SERVICE MANAGER WENT OUT WITH ME AND FELT IT. SO FAR THEY BALANCED 4 TIRES, SWAPED 4 TIRES, THAN FORCED BALANCED AND REPLACED ANOTHER TIRE. VIBRATION STILL THERE.

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe

I really like the style and comfort of the vehicle. Fit and finish is very good. I don't know how reliable its going to be with the issues I have listed. I have second thoughts about not having my Ford F-150 repaired and keeping it but I thought I couldn't rely on it even after the repairs. Now I have a brand new vehicle (your Santa Fe) and I'm not sure of its reliability. So you tell me If I made the right decision on purchasing this Hyundai.

We love the vehicle - just worried about the transmission.

We went from a BMW X3 to the Hyundai Santa Fe - people think we're crazy but overall, it's great! Has all the features and comfort you'd expect. However... we have already had an instance where the transmission was for SURE having issues. Upon doing some research, it seems as though this is a known issue for this specific trim style of the 2019 Santa Fe. That is making us nervous since we only have 2700 miles on the vehicle. Let's hope it's not a major problem and than Hyundai stands behind the issue and fixes it.

Mixed feelings

2.0T low fuel milage, Steering too tight. Shift abrupt low to second. Comfort of seat, good. Ease of entrance, good. Styling not important as reliability, warranty excellent.Could be less noisy and less bumpy. As far as being a SUV, I see no requirements it meets, nor did I buy it for that purpose. It's an upright comfortable vehicle for older people people to enter and exit without crawl in and fall out. It would serve better if more like your Sonata, quiet, road easy and better fuel mileage.

The only thing terrible about the 2015 Santa Fe was the headlights. You could not see st night. I traded for the 2019. It feels cheaper on the interior and the seats are terribly uncomfortable. It appears they placed more importance on the electronic aspects of this vehicle. It needs an automatic rear door as well for what you pay.

Great with a few major flaws

Love the car, I really do. The styling, the features . . . BUT . . . and these are big buts . . . The gas mileage is terrible for a car that is not even a V6. When I say terrible, I mean unbelievably bad for a car in 2019 that isn't a V8 or higher. The transmission is quite poor on the 2.0 Turbo. Erratic acceleration and shifting on deceleration.

More technology less luxury

I used to have the Santa Fe Sport 2017 had leather seats all the full package, now on the new one I decided to the “same” sport, but not even with the SE Plus got all the features my old one had the dealership told me that the only one that has all that it’s the limited that’s a shame that some of the technology I don’t really use all the time but sacrifice my comfort.

Beautiful car, cheap materials inside.

The car is tearing if it has years of use, I don't expected that when I sing my contract. The materials inside the cabin looks great but seems to be very cheap and bad quality for a car like this is something that you never expected I move from Honda and Toyota vehicles but know I regret this decision.

Interior noise is much noisier than our 2014 Santa Fe Sport . Rides rougher than our 2014 Santa Fe Sport. It has a lot of features for the dollars. Would not have bought it if I had a chance to drive it for a few days.

Overpriced was a poor choice on my part.Was hoping for a much more luxurious suv. Customers should have a choice as to their lien holder so that the best borrowing rate is available. If that was available that was not offered to me. overall it drives fine but would have appreciated having my options open as I am new to this car buying scene

New santafe problems

Passenger seat way to low. Don't like the new vent system. very hard to make car comforable without freezing someone out. Opening gas door just doesn't work properly. Front mats very very difficult to get out to do a quick clean, old way much much easier. whoever designed this mat release never actually did it themself....
