I love Classic cars and trucks. I owned Ford's because it was the only American car company who hasn't sucked off the public tit. I was raised that you are entitled to what you get off your ass and earn. No more, no less. Not allowed to suck off the public tit.

Factor the Dealership into purchase

Dealers will withhold vehicle issues until after you've purchased it. I wasn't told the windshield was broken or there wasn't a second key/fob until I purchased the vehicle. When I was told about them I was told I could bring the car back the week for both. It was 6 months until I got the windshield replace and I still a year later haven't received my 2 key/fob

Very happy with service. Had price issues with sales. Vehicle has a lot of great features. Having a little difficulty getting in and out of vehicle. First service took well over an hour for just an oil change

So far 2 engine recalls and waiting for more

Poor gas mileage, 2 engine recalls. Other than the vehicle is nice to drive, stylish, and good warranty. Excellent features. Sunroof makes too much noise. Heating and cool seats are a good option. Technology is a plus.

Dealer Great. Online Service scheduling and Service Dept is great. Vehichle interior design and function concerns

Vehicle handling and driving is great but the following are concerns: There is no place for sunglasses - first car i owned in 25 years, very inconsiderate. Putting iphone into console slot does not connect the ApplePlay - dumb and unsafe because additional iphone cables have to be used. The space below the console toward the front is useless - poor design. Can not tell the airflow levels on screen - poor readability/contrast. Door cup holder is not very functional - to narrow. Screen contrast is poor. Sound quaility is average. Tone controls should have preset levels; rock, talk, pop, etc. VERY disappointing in having to deal with TWO recalls already, although dealer has been great.

It’s a problem vehicle

It’s hard in a few words to describe my feelings about this car. When you buy a new vehicle you expect it to be trouble-free for at least the first 8000 miles. Between the car not starting and taking two weeks to figure the problem, and the cruise control clicking off and the car braking for no apparent reason is very troubling. I am ver disatisdied!

Not impressed

Paint sucks and electronic side of safety features suck plus recalls. Was expecting so much more from my purchase. Looking at vehicles to replace with now since dealers won’t fix the paint issues and can’t seem to get a appointment within a reasonable timeframe.

Good for the price

Decent vehicle with lots of options with a competitive price point. Good warranty and so far no major issues. Given the chance to go back I probably would not purchase this vehicle again. I would get the Palisade or move onto another company and vehicle.

It's an "ok" car.

It's "ok". It's not close to a Kia in terms of features, ride, or performance. It lacks many features that are standard on a Kia. The top of the line Hyundai doesn't compare to the top of the line Kia.

Good Features for the price. Bad experience with brakes. Different brakes issues. The dealership never replaced the brake pads, they just rebuilt (machined the rotors) the first time. I brought my vehicle for 2nd time for the same issues and was told that the warranty was over and charged me more than $200.00 for the repair.

I like my car

At about 6000 miles I started having transmission problems that was intermittent . At about 13000 I finally had my transmission replaced after repeated convincing and frustration with the dealership. It’s been almost 6 months and I haven’t had a problem since. I do have intermittent problems with the dashboard screen with staying connected to my phone which can be frustrating sometimes . Overall though I do love the style and features of the Santa Fe, it has great fuel mileage, plenty of leg room for everyone, and everything else has been reliable.

Problems before 15000

I love the look of the car. All the features are so luxurious. The problem is I’ve had it in the shop there times and shouldn’t have so many problems with a brand new car. This is my 3rd Hyundai and it might be my last.

Too many recalls

The vehicle has too many recalls which I find inconvenient and annoying. I regret buying the car sometimes, bit it is dependable and maintenance is free. I which it had more space and storage. When I buy again I believe I will choose the Volkswagon Atlas

Meh!

We have owned this car for a little more than a year and frankly my only words are quantity over quality. The car is extremely comfortable on the long haul but other than that I could take it or leave it. My husband loves the car. I am indifferent because there is nothing about this car that intrigues me. Handling is lack luster, acceleration is lack luster and the car is always telling you what to do. Like try to figure out why it's dinging in a school zone....oh yes, now I know. Cameras are in use to enforce the posted speed limit. Sometimes the infotainment system works and sometimes it does not, just depends on its mood plus the touch screen response is sluggish. Dealership tells us Hyundai is working on getting the bugs out of the infotainment system. We simply ignore its antics as opposed to thinking paying all that money should entitle you to something that works. I appreciate the dial controls for this reason. The air flow control to circulate the cabin's air will automatically change back to bring in the air from outside. The smart lift gate is not so smart. Works when it wants to as do the door locks. The sound from the muffler putts very loud. What kind of muffler system is that? My 2018 "other" car is wireless for Apple Car Play. Not "doo dad" car. You must have it wired to work. Back to my original statement....quantity over quality.

Low mileage guy

Good looking car. Clunky transmission and erratic acceleration leaves a lot to be desired. The price, cargo room, and looks are a plus. It's good low mileage choice. If you're driving less than 10,000 miles a year it's fine option. If you're commuting more than that you're better off spending extra and getting something more comfortable and reliable

Do not buy this from Preston Hyundai

Was quite excited to secure this vehicle. Everything is fine until it rains - trans/brakes slip but dealer says nothing is wrong. Windshield cracked unexpectedly but have since researched and this is normal for this vehicle. Will not purchase another Hyundai and this was my 2nd one. Will not use same dealership for any vehicle either.

I liked the car at first. There have been too many issues with it. The speakers don't work at all which means I can't use my phone while driving or hear music or navigation. Dealer couldn't get to it for a month.

Good vehicle, okay price.

Like it, but don't love it. If we had to do it over again, we would think about another car. This car meets our performance needs, but not the controls or durability we would like. Some controls are difficult to see, find, or understand. Random noises and warnings are annoying at best.

Terrible

Love the vehicle hate the service department. The Service manager is very rude needs to be sent to a class on how to treat customers with respect and time management. Maybe they need to hire another manager to oversee their service department.
