The car’s performance and comfort is not so par with the looks of it.

The drive comfort and the convenience is not so great, fuel consumption is low, you deserve better than this for the premium price you paid. The car moves a bit to the sides when we break. I used to own a Hyundai sonata 2019 model and I expected better from Hyundai when I bought this car. Yes I did the test drive for the car and a test drive does not give you a detailed impression about the car.

Low reliability - Not as shown online / dealership

The exterior and interior looking don't match with vehicle performance, just with 2 months and 1800 miles on it, check engine light turned on and started smelling weird in the interior. To be honest, we don't feel safe driving this car anymore, we are afraid about any weird damage coming soon. CONS: High gas consumption - Does not respond as a 2.5L vehicle - When accelerate, the car is slow and sometimes loss traction - The engine stared with a weird sound and not working well with less than 1800 miles on it (just 2 months driving) and suddenly made a sound, check engine light turned ON and a strong smell like a burned device came in to the interior - Automatic shutdown did not work sometimes when tried to used it in a stop light, when worked the car turned on by itself suddenly after a couple of seconds - The safety light on mirrors is so small, doesn't help during the day - PROS: Nice exterior - Comfortable and spacious - Headlights works well during the night - Connection to mobile device is easy.

Too many expensive dealer add ons

At the three Hyundai dealers I went to they rave about the included maintenance etc but then have these dealer add ins already on the cats that add $5k or more to the vehicle that they won’t go below msrp sticker price already - but the add ons are not worth it especially the nitrogen tires - very expensive and very difficult to maintain if you can even find a nearby nitrogen tire fill which the tires lose pressure and the warning gauge keeps going on. I wish Hyundai would sell their vehicles only with the factory packages then marking them up another $5k for worthless add ons to make up money for the extended warranty and maintenance - note the free included maintenance is very limited to oil changes and doesn’t cover other major services.

It’s a LEMON… a Brand New LEMON

Bought it brand new, electronics weren’t working, thought it was settings, read the manual cover to cover, called dealership and left multiple messages that went unreturned, finally got appointment to get it repaired, took 3 days WITHOUT a loaner vehicle, supposed to be fixed, safety features still not working, complained to Hyundai corporate, it’s back in the shop but at least I have a loaner.. corporate rep was supposed to update me 3 days ago and hasn’t.

Couple things about the vehicle that are troublesome: (1). When it’s in drive to go forward it goes back 6-10 inches before going forward. (2) when at complete stop at a traffic light or stop sign but in drive mode meaning I’m not changing gears there’s a 4-5 minute hesitation or pause.

Unreliable safety and auto drive features

Interior design is cramped, not enough storage, bulky console. The seat is not adjustable enough. The safety drive features do not work consistently. There's a lot of blind spots. But it is quiet and has great fuel consumption.

would not do it again

this vehicle has lots of positive features, but just as many shortfalls in my personal opinion. I would not buy it again. I have tried for months not to regret the decision to purchase this vehicle by weighing on the good gas mileage and the lower payment. I thought i would love it, but its only been 3 months and I'm already telling myself "only 2 more years til i can trade it in on a different car

My bad Choice for a new vehicle.

Nice looking vehicle but too much electronics and poor interior design. Comfortable ride. A few cup holders that are misplaced with bottle holders in the door that rattles. It comes with a very poorly written owners manual that will confuse anyone!

Electronics hookup not reliable

Phone looses connectivity when plugged in..wiper speeds don't sync with wiper settings..no spare tire or donut..navigation occasionally can’t find addresses just searches..radio loses xm radio and doesn’t keep stations after hooking up phone.

Could be better

Great vehicle if you are driving to the mall or shopping, vehicle is not adventurous like advertised as it feels cheaply made, the suspension is very tough and every crack can be felt in the steering. Plenty of room, wish they would have moved 2nd row back 2 inches since there is no 3rd row. USB port for phone projection is in a poor location or could benefit from Bluetooth projection. Cluster display is great as it gives you the info you want and is customizable. Seats could have a bit more cushion to them, the napa leather is soft but with little cushion under them leaves you sore on long drives. Location of park, drive, reverse could be in a better spot. This adventurous vehicle does not come with a spare tire.

I would not have made the purchase had i had a clue

I feel that i’ve been paying for a car that is unsafe for me and the people that trust me with their safety. I trusted that I was getting a good vehicle and new car. I should have known that it was not true when they brought my car back with mud all over it and couldn’t explain how it got there. The car I handed over to the Dealer.

Very disappointed with finance department

Disappointed with finance department was supposed to pay taxes title meaning all of of state cost and they didn’t and didn’t want to respond back I had to keep calling to find out salesmen were great and very helpful Richard was even willing to pay out of his own pocket for my tinted windows since he hey never sent a invoice to tint city

Way to may bad design features. I want normal crusie control as well. Rear turn signals are to low and people can't see them very well (people have told me this) Many dash buttons are hard to understand and see. There should be a compass in the odometer area. The start, Drive, Reverse and park buttons do not always engage unless you press them perfectly. I want to be able to turn ON the auto off feature if I want it on NOT the way it is now - It should be MY choice! Engine noise is weird

Check Engine ON 6 weeks after purchased

Check Engine light ON since 1860 miles on the vehicle. Came In, Out, more than 20 times if I'm not wrong. Vehicle was driven with the Check engine ON for more than 4400 miles without any repair done from the dealer, neither Hyundai engineers. At 11488 miles on the vehicle (after 1 year + 1 week owning it) the Check engine is still coming IN. Frustrated and disappointed for the vehicle quality and reliability. The dealer checked the car, but to be honest didn't take care of the customer, seems like they just want to do the sale, but once you're owner, you're one more and that's it. I'm trying to check about my rights on this situation with the Georgia Lemon Law because it's unacceptable to get a brand new car and carry that problem for a year without final solution.

numerous issues and customer service not good

only had my 2023 1 year and have already been in the shop 3 times and due to go back in again, but need to wait 2 months to bring back in because 2 dealerships are backed up with service cars. NEVER WILL I PURCHASE A HYUNDAI AGAIN!!!! I WANT TO RETURN AND GET MY MONEY THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID TOWARDS IT BACK IN FULL!!!!

Had it 3 months and then needed a new engine

I had this car for 3 months and noticed a knocking sound in the engine. Took it in to get it looked at and it took Hyundai almost a solid month to even tell me what was wrong with the car and determine that I needed a new engine, on top of having to rent my own car in the mean time because they did not provide a loaner for two weeks with no response as to why. Customer service was terrible. Loved the car, shame it broke.

Beware drive train

Had to replace transmission before first service appointment at 5900 miles. The dealer found and fixed the problem but needed two tries to do it. I was pleased that they were quick to provide loaner car and agreed to have the car towed to their location the second time to minimize any damage. Recommend to check build date of car you are buying and check for problems.

Good, Not Great

This SUV overall is satisfactory. The exterior and interior details are good. Noise and comfort on rough roads are significant issues. It is difficult to conduct a conversation comfortably at highway speed. That is the reason I would not purchase again.

Average enjoyment when driving.

This vehicle has a lot of options on the car, that are usually desired on a new vehicle. Wireless Bluetooth connection for navigation apps is preferable. This model which is a higher model, does not come equipped for wireless navigation using apps such as Waze using CarPlay. The sound system works differently depending on the mode you use. The sound quality is better on radio than your music from your phone. The driver side headlight is very annoying at dark. Creates a Blindspot for the driver and potential safety concerns. I think I would rather have it on comer driver be a little inconvenienced with a light rather than me having a Blindspot when I’m driving in a dark road when anything could jump out from the side like a deer. The front grill of the car is plastic and made very cheaply. That should not be the case when you’re buying a next to the highest level of trim. Very cheaply made. Does not have the option for a front license plate which is required in some states. Overall the value for the car is average. Considering how cheaply it was made I paid a lot for this car. Experience at the dealership was terrible. If Honda is going to an Internet sells model, then you should just pull the plug and go for it. It was not a pleasant experience. I bought this car because overall it was cheaper than any other vehicle’s with similar options. However, it feels like a cheaper car. The warranty that comes with the car makes it very reliable. I also purchased the warranty for the interior functions of the car, as I don’t suspect they will last 100,000 miles. This became a purchase more of needs and desire, and it shows in my review. So that is a disclaimer I suppose.
