Fell In Love With My Vehicle, But Then…

At 450 miles, all dash lights lit and diagnostics test performed. Engine light stayed lit and car was towed to dealership. Throttle Body replaced. At 820 miles, same issue. No power to drive the car. Towed to dealership where it had been for a week. No communication from service department. They seem unable to diagnose issue. Getting ready to make first payment on car I can’t drive.

Issues with the Car and Customer Service

The vehicle has been giving me issues since the first week I bought it. The rattling noise has been consistent and very annoying. The brakes just very randomly sometimes vibrate. The USB port charging is very slow. The dealership fixed one port but are refusing to fix other ports. Every time I get my car back there are other issues which they find and fix it. That means there are more issues that I could actually feel or see. I have been trying to find a way to return the car. Have also raised a case with Hyundai to the same. It's been more than a week and no one has gotten in touch with me. The dealership isn't helping either. The entire experience has been full of inconvenience. Haven't been able to enjoy the car because of these issues and I have been just paying the EMIs without even driving much.

Engine problem

Engine problem, stopped immediately on the road and no good experience with fixing and people having attitude never answer the phone and they were rude mostly. They are still taking money after they repurchased the car from us because of the issues also you guys get the money but it still shows we have loan to pay this is unbelievable.

Ignorance on the part of the dealership

The vehicle has many intermittent problems, all of which the dealer says they must "replicate" in order to fix. I resent being told I am lying to them. Either the transmission or the fuel injection is defective - the car hesitates almost to a stop when accelerating on a highway in order to pass a vehicle. My attorneys have placed Hyundai corporate on notice.

Broke down Santa Fe

My new Santa Fe with 2000 miles on it has been in the shop since 9/14/23. They don't know how to fix it. Don't buy a Santa Fe you will regret it. I don't recommend it to anyone. I want my money back!!!

stalls intermittently

poor quality, stalls when in idle, tries to restart when placed in park, poor navigator dies frequently- fuck your 200 characters. stop trying to control my review, by demanding more data. your product is sub par and needs to be recalled and the customer given a different vehicle.

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR

I purchased this vehicle back in November of 2022. It was a 2023 model. When I first test drove the vehicle, I was impressed with how smooth the ride was and how much room there was. After a while, things began to malfunction. I had to turn off the safety feature that lets you know when a car is next to you. When trying to change lanes on the interstate, it would pick up cars 2 lanes over and start making the alert noise. The collision alert went off on multiple occasions when there was not even a car around. Once it slammed on my brakes while on the interstate. There was not a car in front of me. The rear camera alert goes off all the time when there is nothing beside of behind me except grass. Then, when there actually is something behind me, it does nothing. While the cruise control is activated on a straight road, it has a hard time staying at the same speed. It will fluctuate. I have had multiple times when I've had the air conditioner on and it will just randomly start blowing harder. The touchscreen display continually malfunctions. Even after updating. My lane assist feature decided to turn itself on while driving down the road. I've had a couple of times when my car would not go into Park without pushing multiple times. My parking brake will engage when not needed. For instance, I've had it set in my garage where I have parked every day I have owned the car. My radio has randomly turned on a couple of times. I've had issues with the door handle and the lock/unlock feature. Overall, I have been very disappointed with the vehicle. Not to mention, it depreciates unbelievably quick. I trade to trade it in at 10 months of having the car and it had depreciated $14,000.00.

Not Happy No way that I can give you 200 characters. Call me if you want details. Brock Sloan (864) 663-4090. Totally unhappy with dealership. I feel they cheated me. List price was $42,930. the hid the total on window which was $49,925. Had really bad experience with tag transfer also. Took over 6mos to straighten tag out.

LEMON LAW WITH LESS THAN 1000 MILES

Had a check engine light within a few hours of driving off of the lot. Vehicle spent more time in the service department than in my own driveway. It was returned under the NYS LEMON LAW with UNDER 1000 miles.

A New Defective Santa Fe 2023 SEL AWD

I check engine light came on three times for the same error code P2181F1 in the first month since i bought it in 10/25/23. The engine cooling system is defective, the thermostat is always open and the radiator fan is always on, which makes the engine coolant temperature always at cold. I took it to Hyundai Dealership 4 times and they don't know what is the problem. The car is now at the dealership because it is defective and i can't drive it and they can't fix it.

The worst decision was buying this vehicle. Got problems with air bag system from the 3rd day a bought this hiunday anybody wants to be responsible for the problems the dealer or hiunday, don't recommend anybody purchase a hiunday

Major oil leak from delivery that would have required new engine block. Had Hyundai buy this junk heap back. The dealership and Hyundai had no interest in helping me out. I’ll never purchase a Hyundai or Genesis product again

Last week I had a bad experience , I got there 8:50am, my apoitment was 9am. Just for oil change and tires rotation and it was 12:15pm and my car wasn’t ready, I need to leave with my car wasn’t finish. And I need to be back to finish the service.

Hyundai Dealership @ Wayne

Title: Be aware of Jay Jaber/GM @ Wayne Genesis Hyundai Dealer I am writing this to make other aware of Mr. Jay Jaber. I recently leased 2023 Santa Fe a vehicle from this dealership. My sales person Mr. Fred Mutooni was very knowledgeable and helpful thru out this process. How ever his sales manager was quite the opposite. I had a 2021 Buick Enclave that was due on its lease and we cut a deal w/Mr. Jaber that his dealership would pay off the final payment on the Buick and they would take the Buick since the owner of this Hyundai dealership also owns a Buick dealership. We were told this by Mr. Jaber, further we would have no other fees associated w/the deal, inclusive of the disposition fee since the owner of this dealership owned a Buick one as well. I just received an invoice for $420 and I am being told by Mr. Jaber now that he is not going to pay this. I am so upset that he is not living up to his word that they would take my car and handle all expenses. I should have gotten it in writing but I trust him. Shame on me and shame on him! Be careful…..

Design flaws

I don't know what they were thinking with some of these design elements. The center console is shiny so the sun often shines into your eyes during the afternoon. The only way to remove the floor mat it to lift it up, which dumps any dirt/sand onto the floor. The overhang on the back means that window is always dirty. I understand reasons why the windshield wipers are recessed, but that is going to be a huge pain if they get an inch of ice on them. And mine had a defective windshield they are replacing... It has a lot that I like. I fit in the seat well, I like the touchscreen, gas mileage seems fine, and it was less expensive than other models. But when you drop $40k on a new car, you expect everything to be right, and it's not.

Pushbutton shifting a mistake!

The pushbutton shifting will be the reason I sell this car.This has been tried in the past by numerous car manufacturers and found to be wanting. For my review you gather that this automobile is somewhat a disappointment at this price point. The paint has lots of orange peel. The interior has lots of black and they do not offer a bright interior. In fact the headliner is dark!
