the HYUNDAI SONATA hybrid is a valuable asset for ownership.

my hyundai sonata hybrid is excellant on gas with an average netter than 42 MPG. It is quiet on the highway, runs smoothly and handles great.

Hyundai Sonata is best hybrid out there

The Hyundai Sonata is sleek and sexy and offers great gas mileage. It is extremely comfortable even for someone tall. The sound system is great in general roominess is a plus. I would definitely purchase again.

Room for inprovement

overall pleased with car, dealer service is great, quality of vehicle is good. Was in a 2015 Sonata GLS rental recently when we had a blowout on left rear. We were not in a safe area, which concerned me. If we had been in my car, we would have NOT had a spare. Dealer said reason for no spare was to save weight, I thought it would be there was no space for it in the hybrid which of course is incorrect. I am in the process of buying an after market spare and jack for my car. I will not purchase another car without a spare. It's not important unless you and family are broken down on the side of the road at midnight while out of town. At the least, I should have had the option at purchase.

The Hyundai Sonata 2014 limited hybrid-fun to drive!

Bought it used with 7k miles on it. After 13k miles, I'm still a fan. Great dash system. A very comfortable, quiet, refined ride. This is my first hybrid, the accelerator takes a little getting used to.

2014 Sonata Hybrid Limited - Excellent Vehicle

I've owned this vehicle for two years and have had no negative experiences whatsoever. It has performed flawlessly and exceeded my expectations, Had reservations about purchasing a hybrid but have found it to be a very competent performer. Very satisfied with mileage. Consistently average 36mpg in combined city/highway driving and experience 40+mpg on highway. Limited package/options make this car comparable to entry level luxury brands.

Sonata Hybrid

I am on my third Hyundai and all have been Sonatas. My current Sonata is the hybrid. It seemed like a good idea and I took a chance on something new (for me). I am very happy and I will want to go with another hybrid when the time comes. The gas mileage is great. I get high thirties on all around driving. I have some mid forties on long distance trips and even better if I want to keep it at 60 mph. I still get close to forty when going 70. Let me tell you what happened one time (and I hope this won't happen again). I ran out of gas!! The warnings were there and due to circumstances I ran it close but I thought I could make it to the gas station but then it happened! The Big fuel pump icon came on informing me that I was out of gas! BUT, the car did not stop! Instead it automatically converted to all electric battery driving while warning me to get to a gas station so as not to incur battery damage with long term use. Not to worry! The car took me safely to a gas station about 3 miles away and I filled up and all was back to normal. No getting stranded on the side of the road because of no gas! I don't plan on that happening ever again but it is nice to know the technology of Hyundai Sonata is there just in case.
