Great Sedan for the family value minded person

Having a large Plugin hybrid vehicle at this price point is a very rare thing in 2017. I like the ride, economy, and drive ability whether on short trips within the city or a long highway drive to a special destination. The design of the vehicle is a very sleek looking one and all the creature comforts that come along with this car are unbelievable for the price point for a working family. I am also able to get closer to 70-80 MPG when I plug the car into a standard 120V outlet on a daily basis. The car is quite as anything in the higher class of vehicles, BMW/Mercedes/etc/. Whenever my friends who have high end luxury cars can not believe how many gadgets this car has at the price point I paid for the vehicle. I look forward to driving this car until my next PHEV hyundai vehicle with more features, etc.

Excellent value for money

99miles per gallon along with the other superior qualitative elements Hyundai Hybrids are known for. My only disappointment is the colour. I wanted it in metallic Blue.

Love My Sonata

I purchased this particular vehicle because of the plug in feature. I have excess solar power from my home system and decided this would be another way to be green. This vehicle fit my needs and has proven to be both cost effective and fun to drive. My drive to and from work is less than 27 miles so I usually stay all electric. Passing the gas stations puts a smile on my face almost every day.

PHEV

If you want to experience a great driver and want to have fuel economy without looking like an eco tourist then this the vehicle for you. You get all the benefits of a full size car but with great gas mileage and performance. This vehicle has pick up and almost will never get pulled over at speed traps due the family nature. It rises really smooth over bad roads and it is a great touring car. My only complaint is that I wish it had a better battery range. Since you get a full 25-27 miles from a single Charing session.

Great vehicle, still loving it after a full year

Works perfectly for me. My work commute is 20-25 miles, and I typically get close to 30 miles on just electric (slightly lower when using AC). I can charge at work, so I can go back & forth to work using very little gasoline. Very comfortable, looks great. Only major complaint - I wanted a moonroof/sunroof, but it wasn't available.

Plugin Hybrid Sonata

Solidly built vehicle. Drive is smooth and quiet. Much better than I expected. The built quality is excellent. Handling in wet condition is very good. The location of the automatic hand brake is not very safe. Slight imbalance of the tires.

Great car so far

In doing my research prior to my purchase, I didn't believe that I could get the MPG that was stated in the evaluations online. I have only taken one long trip and got 46 MPG without a charge. Around my home, and I live about 18 miles from town, I have gotten as high as 90 MPG. Consistently, I get more than 70 MPG. I bought this car to replace a Prius and have been impressed.

Great car.

I wanted a car that would suit my driving habit, almost all city and suburban, with occasional trips of 200 miles or more. And I wanted to minimize my use of gasoline. This car does that in spades! I get from 30 to 33 miles per charge (it’s rated for 27) from an overnight charge in my garage using a standard 115 volt plug. My Gasoline usage is mainly for keeping the car warm in the winter and for long trips. I crudely calculate that I’m averaging over 85 miles per gallon! The dashboard gauge almost always says 99.9 mpg ( the max). And I haven’t noticed any significant increases in my electric bill. Aside from that, the car is pleasant to drive, comfortable, quiet and nice looking. I think I like it!

Economical and Stylish

This vehicle was purchased new from a Hyundai dealership in the Los Angeles area but I immediately felt at home with the Palm Springs dealership. Will trust them from now on to service my vehicle. This vehicle fits my every need and has just about every amenity you can ask for in a vehicle. I recommend looking at Hyundai for your next vehicle. Great blend in every imaginable category. Plug in Hybrid - I see so little of the gas station that I have to remind myself it still needs fuel! Great job Hyundai - I will buy again. :)

Good For the Money

Nice and comfy very handsome car. Great warranty and overall value. Did a lot of shopping and it just seemed like the best choice. 500 plus miles on a tank. Very efficient hybrid battery. Insurance rates for it are suprisingly low. Would recommend if you’re a value conscious shopper.
