Purchased new for my much better half from Fitzgerald's in '09 -- terrific value. Delivers excellent mileage, comfort, strong acceleration (6 cyl) ... a super car.

Warranty

Rear Brakes failed at about 20000 miles. They blamed me for not having the sliders lubricated, but I brought my cat to them for maintenance and they should have told me it was needed and I would have done it. It was their fault but they didn't honor their warranty.

2008 Sonata

I love my 2008 Sonata!...... But......... I have had to have the sun visor replaced 3 times since ownership (brand new in 2008)! I hope the the later models have improved the sun visor feature as not to break! Thanks for reading!

very dependable car

I bought my sonata new in 2009. All I have ever done is change the oil regularly. it has been very dependable, a very smooth ride. been to florida many times it's a pleasure to take on a road trip. 125000 miles now, still going strong.

Love my car

I have driven my car up & down the eastern coast of the U.S. so many times not not even funny. My car is reliable, dependable, easily maintained, great on gas, and just a wonderful car. I don't think I would drive anything else. When friends are looking to buy a new I always recommend the Sonata.

Long Life

My husband talked me into buying a new Hyundai in 2008, the year after he had bought his. We had driven Mercedes prior. He read all the consumer and safety reports. I took his word for it. I'm glad I did. My Hyundai is now 8 years old and still going strong! I've only had it serviced at Winn Hyundai because they take such good care of me and my car. Kudos to the car and Kudos to Winn Hyundai.

Still looks good

My 2008 Sonata still looks good. I enjoy the smooth drive. Only nagging problem is that the tire pressure light stays on even after several attempts by service personnel to get it to work as it is supposed to. Also had trouble with the air conditioning, and $$$ to get it to work, but the system is working sufficiently now.

Love my 2008 Sonata

My Sonata has been super dependable from day one. I've never had to worry about breakdowns or expensive repairs. The engine runs very smoothly, so much so that it seems it isn't even running. The ride is good, and it takes to all types of roads, even when the road is rough.

Old reliable

Although my adult children are always telling me I should look into other automobiles, I always respond with the reminder that my 2008 Sonata still is a smoother ride than most of their newer autos. I also tell them that Burns service dept, keeps my car in tip-top shape for a fair price.
