Wouldn't buy another

Wouldn't buy another Hyundai Hybrid. The company inflates their claims to the miles per gallon especially regarding hybrids. If we bought another hybrid it would be a Toyota or go full electric with Tesla.

Smooth Ride

I absolutely LOVE my car. I HATE that it seems like they didn’t take pride in building it. I’ve had soooooo many recalls, including the engine (it blew up last year), the seatbelt, something with the oil pan, the airbag. It’s crazy. When I was in my rental car (Nissan), it was so slow and had no go power. I got back into a Hyundai Elantra and it felt like I was home. Smooth riding

Hyundai Sonata

I've owned my Sonata for 9 years and have never had a problem with it. I have it serviced on the recommended schedule and expect to be driving it for quite a while longer. It still runs and looks great.

I have replaced all the necessary parts.

Car solutions put me in a car that was beat up but under 100,000 miles. I originally was looking at white Honda they bring a dark blue one instead. Until the next day I realized the car had been razorbladed out before me. Not cool for being a second buyer from car solutions wpb, fl. Becareful who you go too. Not everyone will help you out the second time around.

Love my Sonata!!

I bought my Sonata used in 2013. I’d never purchased a used car before but had a specific budget. I love my car! I can depend on my car & on Hyundai! The 100,000 mile warranty was still honored even though I was the 2nd owner! A week or so ago I got a letter from Hyundai stating they were extending my warranty to 120,000 miles at no charge to me! What company does that?!? My car was part of the engine recall a few years ago. The entire engine was replaced free of charge to me. I’m officially a Sonata girl from here on out!!

Very problematic vehicle

It had so many issues don’t even wanna talk about it. Not even 90k I had to go to service multiple time. Engine got blown out, I had to wait long to get my vehicle fixed. Touch screen is very bad, I had to use pen or something different than finger.

I have loved my Sonata since the day I test drove it almost 9 years ago. Comfortable, easy to drive great gas mileage even today. Low maintenance, yearly inspections, visibility from all angles. Smooth quiet drive.

I love my Hyuandai Sonata Hybrid and the next car I buy will be another one. I love the gas mileage and overall it’s just a great car with lots of room. I really love all the options that it came with.

Sonata limited

Outstanding car , fantastic manufacturer support and excellent dealer to work with . I think Hyundai’s warranty can’t be beat. If any issues arise the manufacture’s response is to extend the warranty to 10 years or 100 k miles for that issue, Nobody else comes close.

Comfortable & Classic

Wow, is how I start about this car. Because when I went to the dealership I went for a Dodge Dart, which turned out to be an extreme let down. Then my salesperson told me to look out the window over my shoulder, because he has a better one. I was kind of nervous I've never done this alone an was waiting for my son, then he told me let's test it out. When I got behind the wheel, pushed the button and saw how beautiful the inside was I fell in love. It's only a 2012 but it's MINE!!

Good fuel mileage horrible paint.

My 2012 Hyundai Sonata is an awesome car, if you love a car that averages 28 mpg and the indigo paint peels causing rust. Mediocre interior and major problems every few years. The motor was replaced at 45k miles and the fuel pump at 75k. After the warranty ran out there was even more problems, but who needs a high pressure a/c hose anyways.

Car sucks

It has a safety recall that Hyundai charged me for still not fixed, would never buy another Hyundai. And this is not my first had a Santa Fe also and while that car or SUV was much better the cars suck. I have many friends that bought Elantras but only because they were cheap

Never had a problem with completion of works/service on the car until September 2020

Not satisfied. You might want to restart the inspection of cars you service. It doesn't look good to pick up a car and on the way home it breaks down again and then after a week something else is wrong. Maybe you might want to restart the major/computer inspection of cars after servicing.

Never again!

The engine seized after 120,000 miles. No indication it was going to happen. No check engine light came on. It just stopped! Never again will I buy a Hyundai. I have heard that the 2.4 engines have had a lot of issues - but never thought it would happen to me. Thanks Hyundai!

My sonata

Sonata is a great car with regards to the engin if taken good care of, but with the other parts it needs a lot of improvement, because it generates a lot sounds after driving for a while. A lot of work has to be done with regards to its parts, making it firm and durable. Aside of all that sonata is a great car to drive.

Not perfect, but well worth having.

My biggest complaint is limitation of view when pulling off ramp onto highway. The panel covering the driver's left windshield severely hampers viewing. My son, who is an excellent driver, also complained about viewing difficulties when he drove me to a medical appointment.

I love my Sonata in many ways, however, it now has its third engine in it, and has had multiple recalls in each of the years I have had it. Consequently, when I went to purchase a second car, I chose not to buy a Hyundai.

LESS THAN HAPPY 'CAMPER'

THE WARRANTY IS NOT THE BEST FOR ME. IT WILL TAKE ME MORE THAN 9 YEARS TO GET TO 60,000 MILES, MEANWHILE MY WARRANTY EXPIRED AFTER 5 YRS. I NORMALLY DRIVE ABOUT 7,OOO MILES PER YR. OF COURSE I HAD TO BUY AN EXPENSIVE EXTENDED WARRANTY.
