SONATA 2014

I have been very happy with my Sonata 2014, which in my trips to Miami made an average of 31 mph, due to my maintainance schedule! Also, my wife has a Sonata 2004 working in perfect condition. Two of our granddaugthers in Miami have also Sonatas!! So, we are a Sonata's Family!!

Almost perfect

Very happy with everything about the car except that the air conditioning takes a long time to get cool. It gets cool best when moving at a high rate of speed but not when idling. But that is my only issue.

2014 Sonata GLS

I purchased my Sonata GLS new in 2014, it currently has 80,000 miles. Regular maintenance has been performed and a few minor recalls. Overall I am pleased with my Sonata with the exception of the passenger seat it sits very low and the 2014 GLS you could not get fog lights which doesn't give it the stylish look like the 2013 has. I have been told the seat issue has been changed in the newer models.

Good car

I love everything about the car except 2 points. I have the 2T turbo and would strongly consider buying another. Much quicker than other cars i test drove. The performance of this car makes me feel safe. Drives great. Very responsive. Have generally had great service from the dealership. This car is quiet, interiorly. Oh, one complaint- there is no compass!! No idea why this wouldn't be standard, but it's not. Makes things difficult when GPS says "go north" and you don't know where north is. .. The HVAC blows through vents that should be closed, and doesn't blow adequately through vents it should. Also, the seat warmer controls are situated on a place where I frequently bump them w my purse and turn them on inadvertently. The complaints are minor. I have a 2014 and would expect the minor issues would have been addressed in subsequent models. I love my car.

Great looking and great millage. No problems. This is my 2nd Sonata.

My first Sonata was a 2011. It had almost 60,000 miles on it, I was looking at 2015 because of the safety features. My salesman told me 2014 had them and that I could save a lot of money. Although it is five years old it still looks like a new car. Once on a trip I averaged 40 mpg!

Love my Sonata

Have owned Sonata for at least a year and have had no problems . Would highly recommend to friends and family. Have owned Dodge Stratus and an Oldsmobile and was not familiar with Hyundai til it was time for another car. Went looking and came across Sonata. Test drove it and ask questions . After a year of owning and driving car am very satisfied with performance of my Sonata.

Great value for the price

Best car purchase ever. No problems,replaced tires and a new battery in 110,000 miles.standard maintenance and regular oil changes,only. Fit and finish excellent,still looks and drives like new. Not sure if I’ll ever need another, but I’ll stick with Hyundai. I am one happy customer.

My Sonata is overall the best car I have have ever owned! I get compliments all the time on how smooth a ride it is and it drives just as smooth! It is sleek looking and I’m proud to be a Hyundai owner!

The best of the best

I have this car for for more than five years, It took me to where ever I go. no problem yet. the only thing I had to maintained was regular oil change.keep up with the tires and really nothing wrong. not only that the warrenty just went up to 100 thousand miles.

Very pleased!

We are very pleased with the performance of our 2014 Sonata. We have had NO issues with this car, and love it. We still consider it our NEW CAR. I think it still looks like a new car every thing still works perfect.

Overall love the car with just 1 issue. Engine has had several updates and warranty extended for this matter. Feel they should just replace the engine before additional problems happen. If they do, may keep the car forever.

Excellent Product

I purchased my 2014 new. Has been the BEST car I have EVER owned... would not hesitate to purchase another Hyundai in the future!! Have sold three Hyundai cars to family and friends since owning mine. The products obviously sell themselves... but personal input means a lot too. Again !!! Great product !! I WILL continue to tell family and friends to buy Hyundai.

Too many recalls

Too many recalls and noone would/will explain the warning messages. Lied to or left in the dark regarding repairs. Company did not follow the purchasing agreement and the customer satisfaction department used to make things better...is a joke!

Not so of Hyundai anymore

First, way too many recalls, notice of possible recalls. I’m really tired of the tire pressure icon coming on. My knees are sore from hitting the steering column. Didn’t know bumper is made of fiberglass?

Car is five years old, still runs smoothly, has kept and maintained reliability. Still looks new! Drives brilliantly, steering is easy. Lots of extras, back up camera is clear and precise. Back seat riders enjoy the smooth ride, too. Great gas mileage.

Best Car Ever

I love my Hyundai. It runs so good and gets great gas mileage. It’s a beautiful car and still looks new after all these years. I don’t know why anyone would even consider buying any other make of vehicle.

Disappointed

This is my second Hyundai Sonata after loving the first one so much so purchased another. This 2014 has been in service at least 10 times or more with many recalls and repairs. The engine does not run smooth like my first one and it went through a long history of wanting to cut off and once died in a 5 point intersection where i was afraid i would get killed. It did crank back up and i was able to move out of intersection but it was very stressful and a close call. That started a mess with dealerships denying anything wrong until finally recalls started coming out about engine problems. I will not buy another one even though these cars have the smoothest ride ever and are so comfortable on trips and when running correctly a joy to drive. I have lost work time with service and recalls and been so frustrated with lack of satisfaction to have issues corrected. On one service recall the dealership backed into my passenger door and it was a nightmare getting it repaired to be somewhat acceptable but there is still road noise that it did not have before the repair. The original repair was a total botch job that I had to threaten them with my lawyer to get it at least somewhat acceptable but not totally satisfactory. After it was painted someone keyed or scratched the side so had to be redone again. I could go on and on but think you get the idea. Dealerships also promise one thing and then present with bills when i go to pick up car that were not discussed originally and do not give discounts that are promised at onset. They also try to add on things that are not needed or were just done to pump up the bill. I may be female but am knowledgeable about cars so it is insulting.

This is my second Sonata and I do truly love this car. Minimal hiccups, smooth ride and spacious interior. Kiddos good in back seat and this car does exceptionally well on road trips and gas mileage.

Great Vehicle - 2014 Sonata

Out of the many cars I have owned over the years (15), this is the best of them all. It's fun to drive, has plenty of room, and is very cost effective. My first Sonata was a 2011 which was totaled in an accident. (Not my fault!). It took me 5 minutes to purchase my 2014.

Sonata 2014

Spacious, great gas usage, luxurious and affordable. I bought is car in 2014. Today, after 5 years, it is in an excellent shape. I have kept its oil change and basic maintenance with the dealer, which helped me keep the car really well maintained
