Sonata

My car have been in the shop once for a motor and now for a starter!! Two times in 7 days!! So I’m not liking my car right now!!! I got the car because I thought it was going to be a dependable vehicle!

Issues with Factory and Dealership

Bad, Dealership sales were very uninformed and lacked information from the factory about unresolved issues with my cars model . Hyundai sent us several forms to fill out about reimbursement from the factory oissues and class action law suits. We never heard anything back from our response. We would like to get out of the Hyundai that we currently drive because of the Factory issues and Dealership Miss information that we were told when we bought this car.

Hyundai Sonata

Hyundai Sonata is very low to the ground. I wouldn't get another one. Very attractive, ran good but the seat had to be lowered to the ground in order to get into the car. I love the phone feature in the car.

Paint doesn’t last long

They don’t standby there paint job on a new car .The paint will peel off quickly on white color .I’ve paid once for a paint job at the top of my car now I have to pay for a paint job on the hood now.you can call ,but they will tell you they are not responsible for that or your warranty is up,but I have bought several new cars before and never had that experience before .

Engine problems ruined my experience still love Hyundai

Idling problem drove me insane. Idled too low at a stop so taking off and accelerating would cause a weird rumble and braking it would dip so low it would effect the way it breaks as well. Handling isn't the best either. Very comfy and plenty of room though

Buyer Beware

I chose the 2018 Sonata based on safety rating, fuel mileage and warranty. I have no issues with safety or fuel efficiency. The warranty is another issue. Our white Sonata's paint began to peel the instant the warranty was up. As for the glorious 10 yr/100,000mi power train, we were told upon purchase that if we did not service the vehicle at a Certified Hyundai dealership, it would void our warranty. We both work full-time and the nearest dealership is 45 minutes away, making weekday service impossible. Getting a weekend appointment requires 3 weeks notice. I am aware that we have a substandard dealership, so maybe your Sonata experience won't be the same, but do your homework before buying. Service after the sale...

NEW Sonata

This is my 5th Hyundai and my 3rd Sonata. This is not my favorite. The 2013 Sonata Hybrid had better technology and luxury. Hated that I wrecked it. This Sonata is ok but not as nice. Should be very reliable though.

Hyundai Sonata 2018 Sports

The Sports variant of all other cars usually have LED Headlights and a bright DRL as well as Automatic Climate Control. This car gives you a Halogen headlights and the DRL are not bright at all, looks like a normal dim white light. Also, most of the sports variants has an automatic climate control. Controlling temperatures inside the car is really annoying.

2018 Sonata Review

This vehicle is very comfortable and roomy. Gas mileage is not as good as the Elantra but suitable. Has some kind of issue with shifting gears around 40 mph. At that speed it makes some rumbling noise as it shifts. The new design of the back of vehicle is not as stylish as past Sonata's.

Ok for median size car

My 2018 Hyundai Sonata, not what I’d hoped for. I asked to keep the 2015, but a watered down denial pursued. That Sonata was great! I only released it because I thought it was mandatory at lease end.

Not for me

Vehicle sits too low to ground. Not enough trunk space. Performance is average. Not enough power when entering a freeway. Price is ok for what you get. Does not come with navigation system which should be included.

Beautiful car however the engine is so loud .I truly like the color of the car and the spaciousness is what my family needed for traveling as well as grocery shopping.The only push back is the party going on under the hood is too loud.

Great car but beware

This is a great car but make sure you know what you are getting. Go over each and every option you want and make sure the car has it. Make the salesperson show you and don’t believe he knows what he is talking about or you will end up like me with a good car but not what I wanted and not what I asked for. I curse the dealership each and every time I drive

Disappointed

They downgraded the 2015 when they made the 2018. I’m actually considering trading in my 2018 for a used 2015 because it was an overall better vehicle. And I’m talking same make model and trim. I love the Sonata but if they Don’t fix the issues, likely won’t buy another.

My personal experience with this car is fair, I love the color,some features are very nice . It would seem this car would have a cd player in it . Mostly positive experience . It’s a step up from Accent .

2018 Sonata

This car comes with many enticing features. Heated/cooled seats, Blue link subscription for 3 years free, and a back up camera are just a few of the features. Though my previous one had heated seats in the back also and the panoramic sunroof, this upgrade is no longer available.

Sonata 2018

The 2018 Hyundai Sonata have a lot of great qualities. The features are pretty fancy including Lane assist, Auto cruise control, and Android auto. The features work well but depending on what car you drove before, it will take quite a learning curve to understand how to use the features. Hands down my most frustrating thing about the car is that it is lacking a CD player. I understand that newer model cars are moving away from this, however, the music industry still produces CDs and Audiobooks I free at the library and CD formaton a regular so I consider a car having a CD player a standard need for vehicles. The car is very pretty looking from the outside and has a really great shape. I really enjoy the design of the center console because it has a lot of space and compartments. I like that the media device is inside the vehicle as opposed to protruding out like is seen on the 2018 Honda Accord. I was actually surprised that I am happy about the beige interior because dirt is less visible if it takes a bit of time before it is taken in to get cleaned. The trunk space is quite large and very useful. I do wish I had more features like The Limited model with the panoramic sunroof for example, but I am content having a more affordable vehicle without it. Headrest and seat is extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this car for anyone who drives on a regular basis.

The First 90 Days

My first time driving a Hyundai, had 2 Camry's before and I must say the Sonata returns better gas mileage by far. Room is better for both passenger and storage. Not happy with overall sound system and radio in general.

No CD, no rear heated/cooled seats!

I have bought Hyundai Sonata since 2008, just bought a 2018 limited, never buy another one! No heated/cool rear seats, no cd player, seats uncomfortable! No backup warning! I don't recommend this vehicle!
