2019 sonata

Nice car but not as good as the previous sonata I had. Were more and better standard features in the old one looks like some things were eliminated so they could save a few dollars on manufacturers cost

2019 Hyundai Sonata

Previously drove a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and that was a better model in comparison to the 2019. What are Blindspot detection would help with driving but it seems to make it much more difficult. Also with CarPlay it tends to freeze your phone or crash while you’re trying to use it especially when using GPS on it. Gas mileage could be better how to better experience filling up on my 2016 model but overall it still does the job. Gets you where you need to go. Interior does seem much smaller but if you’re not putting too much in your car then you won’t really notice.

Stupid nickle & dime tactic to save mfg cost - and possibly lose an old customer

Low on refrigerant. Has to be a factory defect or a ploy to save mfg cost by not filling refrigerant to normal levels. Not the first time I have Factory defect would mean all refrigerant was lost,,,,

Too much tech for old man

There is nothing special about this vehicle. Korean and Japanese vehicles are pretty much he same. We are not people who think a vehicle is anything more than an a invention to get us from place to place in comfort. We usually lease our vehicles so we do have to deal with " Out of Warranty " circumstances. In the past 15 years we have leased 2 Sonatas, 2 Nissans and a Ford. We have liked thing about each and have disliked things all.

Too new to this car to form any honest opinion. Price andvwarranty were the main reasons that made me buy this car. Time will tell if I made a good devusuin. We have always used Toyota abd/ or Subaru in our household.

No room to put Kleenex box. The storage underneath arm rest is useless.. can barely put anything. Not able to hang handicap plaque. When turning sometimes.. the turn signal still blinks. Back seat arm rest hard to pull down

Second Sonata

My second sonata as My first was a loser. Hoping for better results with one. 2015 was sold sonata s e eco and it experienced complete engine failure. This 2019 is a gamble! Praying for giid luck.....

Great a to b vehicle

Nice comfortable vehicle. Interior is very spacious. Interior could use a little more up to date features. Could definitely use more power or maybe a bigger engine (3.3t perhaps). Outside design is decent and distinguishable.

It’s ok

Not built ford tough............feels cheap and sways at high speeds looks good and have had compliments on the body style. I like the way the controls are set up but worry the interior won’t last with the wear I put on cars

Pore paint

I have only had the car for 4 months and I avoid traffic that throws debris but I am still getting chips in my paint even rust starting already. This is very concerning on the quality of paint used and the bugs plaster themselves to my car and with permaplate are hard to get off. I also have had other issues with lane assist.

Hyundai sonata

Every car needs a compass. The acceleration is good and the ride is smooth. Hard to determine how close front fender and bumper are to other cars when parking because the hood drops off. Using the music menu when driving takes the drivers eyes off the road too much.

It’s ok

I am ok with the car. Just wish it had electric seats on the drivers side. I have short legs and I cannot find the right adjustment for me. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable. I had a Camry and this car just doesn’t seem to have the get up and go like the Camry did. Also trunk is a lot smaller. I didn’t buy a new Camry as they redesigned the front console and I hated it.

Good but not a Home Run

I liked my Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T while I owned it. I did have some issued with the car such as the seats. They are hard and get uncomfortable on a long trip. The headlights are nice and the follow the steering wheel but on low bean there is something that blocks part of the headlight beam. Controls are easy to use but the car has a tendency to rattle inside.

BRING IT BACK!

Bring back the sportier, beefier, boxed style car. It seems as though the regular Sonata Limited style and features were converted to the Genesis G80, which is a real disappointment because the Sonata L. is affordable for me and all that I buy.

Nice Car... Terrible Tires!

This car would get five stars if it came with tires that worked in the snow. I can't even get up my driveway (in the city) if there is even a dusting of snow. The tires may be the reason I never lease another Hyundai again....

update on my new vehicle

had some issues that i would expect to be addressed, and they have been. i am worried about when the warranties run out and if i have the same issues who's going to be responsible. i have a new car and don't worry about being broke down yet, we'll see what happens through the winter months. i am going to take the car on a trip and hoping for a good driving experience.

Good price, nice built in features, but noise engine sound

Overall I like design and all cool features it comes with. I bought SEL model, and it comes with all nice features that you will need. One concern is engine makes tapping noise, and it is noisier compare to other vehicles I have driven.

Test drive in the rain

Extremely dangerous to drive in the rain. Tires do not hold the road in heavy train. Going from a stopped position tires spin when you put your foot on the gas. Windows are horrible to see out of when it rains. Something extra must have been put on the Windows. After the rain stiops Windows had all spots on them also on side view mirrors. I am cleaning the Windows of this 2019 every time it rains trying to get off whatever was put on Windows. Right now the front window has improved.

Fatal Flaw

This is an excellent vehicle but for a built in engine part which makes an ungodly loud noise and they cannot fix. It is a sporty appearing car which handles well, is moderately comfortable on long drives. Do not buy.
