Engine possible issues

I wouldn't have bought knowing Hyundai was going to be fined for trouble with engine failure. The car is great on gas and rides smooth, but tire noise is awful and I need to turn up radio. Speaker system is far from being great.

No blue tooth. No CD player

Was told vehicle was same as one I traded. It was not. No blue tooth. No voice dial. No CD player. The car itself is fine in terms of style value ride etc. The Sonata looks and rides as good or better than more expensive cars. My sole issue is the car did not have features that I was told it had.

Ok for the price

Cheap parts. Rubber parts around doors fall out constantly. Exterior noise while driving very noisy. Media and Android Auto doesn't connect most times. Navigating maintence is hard to figure out, Oil/water levels for example.

2019 SONATA

GREAT VEHICLE. DROPPED THE BALL WITH THE SOUND SYSTEM. THE TURBOS DID HAVE ISSUES. I CANT SAY THAT I EVER HAD AND ISSUE BUT FOR THE MOST PART IT WAS A GREAT VEHICLE. THE 2020 BODY STYLE IS THE BEST LOOKING UNIT OF ALL SEDANS

Hyundai sonata

The vehicle needs a wire front seat the steering wheel to go up higher and the back are the seat needs to go back farther the control panel for the buttons for the windows are too low they go right into your thigh or your leg if you raise that vendor be more room for your waist and leg and thigh

Good Car, Minor Annoyance, Terrible Gas Mileage

Decent comfortable car with a few minor annoyances. Does have leather seats, seats have small ventilation holes though so literally everything gets stuck in them. Sunroof creaks when cracked open.. Headlights are absolutely terrible and unsafe and the"auto high beams"are a joke at best. Overall, going from a car with no technology to this car makes it an amazing car. But for what's out there right now, I'd look for something else.

Great car let down by inferior materials

I would have given this a five star review had it not been for the poor durability of the materials used in the car. Coupled with the shabby treatment given to me by Hyundai of America, a higher rating just wasn't in the cards.

Over Rated

I got the Hyundai Sonata Sport. Supposed to be a step above the regular Sonata. Most uncomfortable seats I ever had, they took away the once standard CD player, the once standard built in navigation system, and no electric passenger seat. Over priced and offer nothing special.

15,000 miles and infotainment system not working

Bought the Sonata because I liked the exterior look and interior features. It came with a turbo engine which is great for power and pep driving in the mountains. Unfortunately in less that 14,000 the navigation system stopped working. Took 3 months to replace and the replacement broke in one day. Had it replaced again. Poor quality when things break so soon.

It’s okay

It shifts badly, a/c makes noise when changing settings, misfires and Bluetooth cuts out. Interior stains easily and seat stitching is coming apart. Steering wheel is flimsy like it’s going to break. I

So much done right with a couple things that need work.

I compare this car to a 2016 Mazda6 that I previously owned so as a first time Hyundai owner I came into the purchase with an open mind and have so far been extremely satisfied. The room, the ride, the looks are all well done and Sport mode turns it into a whole differient car. My biggest complaint is with how bad the backup camera picture quality is. Unusable in all but the best lighting conditions.

Low beam headlights

Overall good car just need to do something with low beam headlights......I can[t write book about this car the only problem I have is the low beam head lights are a real safety hazard as forward viewing at night with low beams is not very good. I have come very close to hitting a person or animal with low beams on this car at night

Sonata 2019

Great value electronically featured car, well designed dashboard and general lay out, safety features are great, suspension is a little hard on the pump, the battery is not charging well and stays at 73-82 percent.

Great leg room

Most impressed with the cabin roominess. When we test drove other models, oftentimes the back seat felt crowded and uncomfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to spread out comfortably and still have room to spare ?

I love my car all safety features! Only dislike is the noise it makes when you hit the gas!! This is myb4th new Hyundai and first time I've ever disliked anything!! I will always drive a Hyundai and hopefully all my kids will to cause I'm in love with how safe I feel in thos car!!

Basic Transportation with a tech edge

Not bad looking, lots of good tech (though some may not always work without some tweaking. Long legs - good sized tank along with high mileage. Not such a fan of the upholstery - it doesn't seem very stain resistant.

Needs some improvents

Very good combination of 2.0T engine and 8 speed transmission!! Could use a little more power, like 10-20 horsepower. Definitely needs away to close trunk by holding it from the inside, so you don't dirty your hand in the winter!!

Sharp looking vehicle - I wish I would have chosen the Sport model with dual exhaust. Looks tough!

Nice ride. A bit low to the ground for a 65 y/o lady. I like the light grey interior. Love the ability to call for help if needed. The phone is easy to use but wish it had its own navigation system instead of relying on connection to Google maps on my phone.
