THE PAINT

I bought a paint warranty when bought car. South Point Hyundai in Austin would not honor it. The chips got bigger and bigger on the hood and began appearing on doors and hood. Austin tx dealerships service dept was awful.

First new vehicle I ever traded in with 10k miles on it

I purchased the new Sonata and after 100 miles knew there was an issue. The forward collision avoidance would register bridge rails and traffic in the other lane as a collision. It would break hard. We took it into the dealership twice and no resolution. The safety features are off and not adjusted correctly. The dealership admitted it was an issue and I was the third person that had come in for the same issue that month. I took it to the dodge dealership and traded it in.

Sonata whynota

We were planning on buying a used car and when we arrived at the dealership all of the used cars were gone. So we drove an new car and fell in love with the handling, engine response, outside appearance and all things Sonata. The dealership was very effective in working with us on 0% financing so how could we say no. We have been very pleased with our new car and the support we have experienced. The only downfall is that we live too far away from the dealership to experience the full support of purchasing a new car.

Great Car

Very happy with the vehicle. The display and Apple play are a little touchy but all in all very satisfied with the vehicle. Would recommend to family or friends. The most annoying thing is having to type 200 characters for the review.

GREAT VEHICLE.

Thoroughly enjoy my 2021 Sonata. This is seventh Sonata my family has owned. Started with a 2011 and now I'm in my 2021. All the features (bells and whistles) make this a vehicle that is well worth the money. The Limited Edition has it all. No issues with my 2021, my son's 2015 had to get the engine replaced. For us, the process was pretty smooth but for others, not so much. I guess it depends on the dealership. Overall, we have been extremely happy with the Hyundai Sonata's we've owned (2 x 2011 Sonata GLS, 1 x 2013 Sonata GLS, 1 x 2015 Sonata Limited) or currently own (1 x 2015, 2018, and 2021 Sonata Limited). One 2011, the 2013, 2018, and 2021 were all purchased new and have run great. The used vehicles had a similar history as well, so, the Sonata has served my family well over the years.

Sporty Looking Auto

Sporty car with two-tone leather seats. Very good Bose sound system. Warning sounds for safe driving. Good warnings if someone is too close to our vehicle. Many camera views for turning corners or backing up.

Great Car

This car is wonderful to drive. It looks great. I get many compliments as to the looks of the car. It is comfortable and roomy. Three passengers can sit comfortably in the back. I love the trunk...very roomy! The one frustrating experience I have had is with the Apple Car Play. The last visit to the dealer for a recall...I was told Apple has a new update and they put it in my car. It has been working better...only went out one in 3 weeks!

Hyundai Sonata 2021 SEL

This is my 6th brand new Sonata. It’s a great car & I highly recommend Hyundai. Their quality control is the best. I plan to buy a 2023 next June. Same dealer, same salesman. I’m easy to deal with. My trade in will have approx 30,000 miles & I keep my cars spotless

Great car

I love the sleak features and comfy ride mixed with the luxuious accents. The fuel economy is top notch and the warranty cant be beat. The sporty looks mixed with the smooth ride make for one of the best vehicles for your money. Our dealership and sales manager is top of the line!

Love driving my car a lot!!

This car is a good safety vehicle. Drives very smooth. Picks up phone easy. Great car to have. Love Blue Link connections also!!! Almost forgot I love being on the open road and using my cruise control ?.

Engines are failing after 18k miles

After 18k miles the engine EGR or air flow fails to operate correctly. This happened to me on the highway back to back with other cars on the road causing high and low rpm’s . Your car will accelerate and decelerate with a very hash feel. Took it in for repair and was told “we’ve never seen these errors codes before” this just made me feel the “fix” wouldn’t be a perfect fix and I was right returned my car in 4 days . Now I’m waiting all over again.

They’re only getting better they’re only getting better I think I bought my fourth Hyundai and I’m very happy. The safety features are great. Smart cruise is awesome lane keep assist keep s you centered so nice

It runs great and it can take some abuse as I drive fast and if this doesn’t satisfy you then fuck off as I usually don’t give ratings and I’m tired of having a minimum of words to say as you are forcing me which is bull shit

2021 sonata

I love my 2021 sonata. I had a white 2017 sonata and the paint peeled. They gave me a great deal on the new one. I was very upset when I walked in with my 2017 sonata but the sales man was great in helping me through the process of getting the new one.

great mpg - nice drive and clean appearance

I find vehicle easy to drive and get great mpg - car has good acceleration. Interior is nice and controls are easy to use. I bought off the dealers lot only vehicle they had new and not thrilled with the driver seat it is a bit uncomfortable (low option) - battery had issue but was handled by dealer - overall very good ride and options.

Sonata SEL Hybrid super car for the price, excellent mileage, even at high speeds, spacious interior, some compared comfortability quietness to Mercedes Benz sedan models !!

All said in title! ,....who gets 55-65 mpg? Awe at such a spacious comfortable rear seat! Entering the freeway with great speed and not losing mpg for it! Drive modes are fun! The padels on the steering column are fun...but not ss much as a manual shift. First automatic since I was a kid....Great car, design all around. HIGHLY recommend it for commuting,l ong trips or just around town! Thank you Hyundai!
