N Line that has 1200 miles on it and dies for no reason

Brand new 2025 N Line that we've owned for ~2 months now. Battery randonmly and myseteriously dies for no reason. Nothing left on in the car. The first time? Fluke incident and no hard no foul - jumped car and returned to normal. Second time, a battery jump pack wouldn't jump it and had to use another car to provide enough power - returned to operation and fine. Third time, called the dealership and had it taken to them for investigation - they tried to tell me that I would be responsible for a $200 diagnostic fee if it turned out to be my fault. They found nothing wrong, but did show 2 historical entries in the vehicle log that the battery drained. Today, battery is dead again, and no reason why. Literally sat in my driveway for a day or 2 and dead as a doornail. Called dealership, no response.

My Third and Last Hyundai - A Lemon with Zero Support

This is my third Hyundai that I have purchased new, and also this is my last time purchasing any Hyundai in the future. This car has caused me an extreme inconvenience and I have been treated like all that I am is a finance account number. I purchased my Sonata on 7/5/25 and drove it four days to work that week. On 7/8, I experienced my first intermittent transmission slip - the car still will do this - under low to moderate acceleration, the transmission will not shift at the correct time, rev super high, and dump into the next gear. On 7/11, the car would not start and was towed to the dealership. On 7/16, I was told by the dealership that the battery was the cause of the no start and transmission issue of which they could not replicate. I brought the car home and tried to leave again on 7/20. It did not start again at 263 miles and was towed back to the dealership. On 7/24 the dealership finally agreed to fix the minor damage that the car had when I had purchased it. On 7/25, I picked up the car again. This time the brake switch had gone bad. The general manager of the Hyundai dealership finally called me after waiting at his dealership for a half hour, with each employee telling me a different time of when he would be back (an hour, a few hours, 15 minutes, and even a "he won't be in today"). This man and his service advisor basically said that there was nothing I could do and that he had only had one vehicle be lemon lawed in 20 years. After 10 days in service over two times, this general manager told me to bring the car back and to come in and get a loaner. There were no loaner cars available over the entire duration of my service visits, which caused me an extreme hardship and inconvenience with my job. Hyundai corporate will not complete a buyback or reimburse me for any of my inconveniences and money spent on rental cars to get me around. Hyundai corporate has stopped answering questions and will only say "please refer to your state's lemon law". So here I sit 8/5/25, with a proven unreliable vehicle, lost wages from missing days and lost money from having to get a rental car, waiting for this Sonata to eventually break again before 12,000 miles and/or 1 year so I can take this case to a lemon law attorney. Stay away from this brand or hope that you do not buy a brand new broken car.

Disappointing

Too many changes from our 2022. Uncomfortable backseat. it slopes deep toward the trunk. Front of car is too low and scrapes everywhere( driveways, parking blocks, etc.) instrument Panel is too sensitive and characters are too small to see. wish i could give it back and get my 2022 returned!

Problem

I had a bad battery with less than 60 miles and now my boost gauge to my turbo is not working with 1400 miles only, this is the first time I've seen such problems with any vehicle within the first few months of purchase. Cheap product and I regret buying this car. Hyundai today is not what it use to be

Dissatisfied

The 2025 model was drastically changed from previous models with no improvements, only more cumbersome with less driver control. I leased Sonatas for 12 prior years and I am not happy with the changes. Your customer service was unresponsive, deflecting, and unsatisfactory.

It’s ok

I probably won’t keep it long but it’s getting the job done. Sound system needs work. Car play a little iffy sometimes recently. Transmission a little jerky first thing. Not my forever car. Like the warranty and touch screen.

Hyundai Sonata 2025

I bought the vehicle brand new in July 2025. One month later in August the vehicle would not start, some component of the starting system failed. The after sales support was just horrible, after 3 days they even looked at the car to determine the problem while I was renting a vehicle at my own expense for the first 3 days. Yesterday, the A/C stopped working, but after a few starts the A/C came back on. I will have the car looked at this weekend. I have purchased at least 25 new cars over the year from various manufacturers...and one of them was a Hyundai Elantra which was just fine. But this Hyundai Sonata 2025 has just been a nightmare!

Ok

Well I had a great experience on purchasing it the day of until a week or two later the insurance that the dealership set me up with got canceled due to the fact that there was an unauthorized personnel that set the policy up that's number one. Then less than 60 days the motor goes out that's number two. Then I have back and forth issues trying to get the loaner finally got a loaner a couple days later that's three. They keep my vehicle for a month then I get a call saying car is ready Mr Murray only to arrive that evening to see my vehicle damaged upon arrival.
