Hyundai Tucson HEV 2023

Hyunda Tucson HEV 2023. Great Midsize SUV. The redesign of the Tucson looks great. It now has a more modern futuristic look. The interior is sleek. Navigation and controls are more modern than when compared to Toyota RAV4 or the Ford Escape's. It feels like a luxury vehicle without the premium gas.

Love this new hybrid but a little disappointed in fuel economy

I just upgraded from my 2017 Tucson to this because I really wanted a hybrid and was so looking forward to the 38 mpg fuel economy. However, I have found it gets more like 32 mpg on the highway and under 30 mpg in the city. I know there's a breaking in period and all but I have 1400 miles now and I haven't seen much change. Still, this is a better fuel economy than I had before so I can't complain too much. The ride is incredibly smooth and the car is so quiet I can't tell if it's running most times. I've always loved the style and features of the Tucsons. They're fun to drive short or long distances. Overall very satisfied with this car.

Overall is good

Everything is good except the final purchase price is over my budget. My biggest concern is the gas and mileage. As in Hawaii, gas is crazy expensive. Now per tank gas could reach to 500 miles. The engine also very quiet, and smooth

Santa Fee Review

This is a good car as far as fuel economy but with great acceleration. The car feels safe and comfortable to drive. Great exterior and interior design. Good value vehicle. The only problem is the heater. So I wouldn’t recommend for anyone who lives in a cold climate.

Nice vehicle but causes distracted driving

I absolutely love the style and handling of my 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. I was disappointed on the wait time to get a color I really wanted, so I settled for a color that was okay. This vehicle comes with plenty of what I call "bell's and whistles" that can be great to have, but because one has to use the center screen so much you can take your eyes off the road for longer than desired times.

Great Hybrid Category Car!

I cannot give it a 5 because I don’t know how reliable this car is yet. Also, we hope we don’t get stranded with a tire mobility kit to used since this vehicle didn’t come with a spare tire. Otherwise, so far an excellent car to drive. Great safety features is a must and we have it all in this car. Go Hybrid! Go Blue!

2023 Tucson Hybrid SEL

I was very impressed with the style of the car. Both the body and tire rims were styled well and very appealing compared to the bland competitors. There are tons of east to use safety and quality of life features like lane keep assist and collision detection in the front and rear. Some things I felt were lacking or confusing, for instance I expected a proximity sound when reversing, the screen for the rear camera is big enough to see everything clearly, but this has been a feature on other cars for at least the past 5 years. Wireless Apple CarPlay is also something I expected on my SEL trim. This is a feature on the Blue trim, which is the base trim, but the SEL and Limited trims only offer wired CarPlay. Besides those two complaints, basically everything else is very easy to use, easy to understand, and user-friendly. I love driving my hybrid for its smooth driving, quiet startup, and great fuel economy.

One of the better suv's but very complicated

The Tucson Hybrid is generally very good and I would definitely recommend it. The limited version comes with many extras like real leather seats both heated and ventilated, drivers seat position memory however having to re-adjust the outside rear view mirrors when you have more than one driver is very annoying also finding out what all the symbols mean on the dashboard and using the drivers manual is very complicated.

2023 Tucson Hybrid is a great car!

I love my new Hybrid SUV! This is my first Hui day and I am impressed! It’s comfortable, quiet, smooth, peppy engine, stylish, very tech, and gets better gas mileage than same size cross overs. However, my current gas mileage could be closer to the estimated. It’s off by 10 mpg. And…I don’t care for the loud reverse beeping sounds. It needs to be about half the loudness. Otherwise it’s a solid car with all of the safety features for the money!

Great vehicle, disappointing mileage!

The Tucson is what I expected and I am happy with it except for the mileage. The EPA estimate is 36 highway and 37 city. I have driven 6,500 miles and my actual mileage is 28 and my Tucson is a hybrid.

Great car with just a few minor issues

I love the car, the styling, the powerful engine and the electric assist when you need extra power to pass another car quickly. Lots of great features for convenience and safety. But the car has no fog lights. IT has keyless entry, which works great, but locking the car when exiting is not great. The lock button on the inside of the door wasn't designed to lock the car when exiting, so I have to handle the sometimes vold, wet, and dirty handle on the exterior of the car to lock it. Aslo, the car is by default in front wheel drive mode, for better gas mileage. You have to press a button to put it into all-wheel drive mode. This is a good feature, but I was not aware of it when purchasing the car. I thought it was in all-wheel drive mode all the time. Other than that, I like the car a lot.

Almost perfect

I love everything about it except the fuel economy is considerably less than the EPA estimate, and the backup alarm is EXTREMELY loud, cannot be adjusted and the speaker is located in the front, why?

2023 Tucson Hybrid

Overall the 2023 Tucson hybrid is a nice vehicle. There are some things we don’t like for example: temperature controls are hard to see, no gearshift, he heated steering wheel does not hit well, gas mileage could be better on the highway and there’s no good place to put your sunglasses. Some of the good things are: drives well, comfortable seating and the styling.

Dublin Hyundai provided a great purchasing experience, from the front desk to our sales rep Adnan. They were responsive and willing to respect our budget while helping is get as many of our must-have features as possible on our new Tucson Hybrid.

We just returned from our first road trip with our new Tucson Hybrid, and we can report the car exceeded expectations in terms of comfort, interior quietness, and storage (lots of luggage and absolutely no issue storing everything). Wish the fuel economy was a bit better, but overall a very nice ride!
