2024 Tucson Hybrid

I’ve enjoyed driving the Tucson I love all the features that come with the Tucson, hands free driving is my favorite I don’t use it all the time but on long trips it comes in handy the only thing I don’t like is the navigation system I don’t always drive on the freeway sometimes I like to take the streets to some location and you can’t turn off freeway navigation for directions other then that everything else is great. My only other characteristics I don’t like is price to purchase or lease.

Love the Tucson Hybrid Limited

Lots of nice features. Don't like the infotainment screen. To get to the radio screen, EVERY TIME YOU START THE CAR, you have to confirm language (honestly how often would that need change on a routine basis??), then get pitched to sign up for a subscription service so you have to press "later", then you have to press "radio". It would be so much easier if it defaulted to the last setting that was used. This is a major flaw. Major, like a multiple times a day hassle. It could cause me to buy a different car because it's a point of abrasion that shows up faithfully. Otherwise, I love the car.

Only three things I don’t like

I bought the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid version and there are three things I don’t like about it. First is the beeping when you go in reverse. Second is the windscreen wipers have a mind of their own. They start at the setting you turn them onto and then take off for no reason. So you have to turn them off and back on again to slow them down. Third is the temperature control settings not being knobs but areas on the dashboard you press.

I love this vehicle.i feel i should have gone for limited variant and warranty should be offered 150000 miles like Toyota.should come with cvt transmission.

Ultimate Comfort, Safety, Style, and Mileage

In 2024 we bought our third Toyota Prius. Having been happy with our previous two Prius', we expected the new one would continue to be just what we wanted. Unfortunately the 24 Prius was quite uncomfortable to get in and out of, so after 4 months we decided to trade for a small hybrid SUV. We checked the Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai. The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited checked all the boxes for us. It was easy to get in and out of. The visibility was great. The Limited electronic features were outstanding. And it looked fantastic. An added plus for us, living in Florida, that it had very light gray leather seats. Every other SUV had black seats, which are tough to sit on in Florida Summers. I'm almost 6' gall. My wife is 5'2". The Tucson adjusts easily to each of us. We have had no problems with it, and this is probably the nicest car we've ever owned.

Very quiet/Very loud

My Tucson is a pleasure to drive except when in reverse. The loud, obnoxious beeping when backing is embarrassing. It disturbs my neighbors and anyone around when I have to back the car. I havre searched unsuccessfully for a way to turn the volume down or to disconnect it. That feature alone would cause me not to buy what is otherwise a good car.

Decent

I’ve owned the Tucson hybrid for nearly two years. Drives smooth, handles well. I like the steering assist while on the highway along with cruise control. I appreciate the maintenance perks, wish it would go by mileage not the length of ownership (I do not drive very far). So far no issues. Would like to see a few built in cubbies, like for sunglasses, garage door opener, and for fuel cards. Rides smooth, like the heated/cooling front seats, along with the adjustments.

'24 Tucson Hybrid Blue

I have received great performance from this Vehicle from the start.. One complaint> my vehicle did not come with a spare tire; not even a donut. I purchased one for reassurance. It doesn't do as well on gas mileage at higher highway speeds.

Comfortable, safe, and reliable with terrible user interfaces

The Tucson never left us stranded, looked great, had plenty of room, and has great driver assistance features. It was well assembled with good materials. Dynamically, it was very competent, safe, and predictable, particularly in bad weather, and the standard Michelin tires were very much appreciated, but it would not be what I consider 'fun', particularly for an 'N' badged car, though it did have plenty of power. The ride could best be described as 'flinty' or 'busy', however it was never uncomfortable and soaked up large bumps well without crashing over them. There were three main demerits which eventually overshadowed all of the good attributes, and that would be 1) throttle response, particularly at low speed, with a pronounced delay that at times refused to respond while pulling into traffic and was extremely difficult to modulate smoothly at low speeds, 2) the haptic feedback controls and lack of physical knobs and buttons, particularly for the HVAC controls, were at best problematic, and at times borderline dangerous, and were a source of frustration every time the car was driven, and 3) the push button shifter was slow to respond, difficult to manipulate quickly, and was not intuitive to operate. (The shifter stalk design on the refreshed '25-up models is a marked improvement). Other annoyances (though much less irritating) were the extremely loud 'gong' backup warning sound, an overly sensitive hands-free rear hatch proximity opening feature, and poor rearward visibility. The throttle, shifter, and HVAC/radio controls were enough to make us trade the car in a year before the end of our lease.
