Alert that I can’t turn diminishes my like of the vehicle

I bought this vehicle to go on a long driving vacation, to give you an idea of how annoying it was the trip was about 3,000 miles in that time the warning consider taking a break went off 320 times. There were days it averaged every 6 miles. So even though Inhave had several Hyundai’s this will be my last

So Much for Efficiency

The car has a great EPA. It is advertised at 35 miles per gallon, but unfortunately, that isn't my story. I'm only averaging about 26-27 miles per gallon. I've been tracking almost every trip since I realized that it is not getting good gas mileage. My fuel tank reading decreases 3-5 miles per actual driven mile with each trip that I take.

In the dark

The car runs fine but the dashboard goes dark off and on. The dealer has not been able to fix it at this point. The car has only 3000 miles on it.

Very disappointed in Tuscon purchase and service

Had planned long term ownership and bought Limited package with extended warranties. At 2000 miles problems requiring towing. First dealership said they wouldn't be able to look at it for a week. Towed to second dealership - diagnosed rodent damage due to soy coating on wires (quote from service manager that it attracts rodents) costing $500 deductible with possiblity of additional extensive costs in the future. Been told some people had "over $10,000 in damage". Add costs/time for recommended rodent spray which I am told probably won't work and who expects to have to spray their car every night! Lived in area for 25 years with multiple cars and no problems. No nieghbors have Hyundais or problems. First time at service, car not properly diagnosed. Was called back with different diagnosis. Car then not properly repaired so had to take it back an additional 2 times (1 hour each way travel plus time) and still not fixed because they kept missing issue from original diagnosis. Also extra parts left on seats/floor and wires hanging below dash when picked up. Per service manager due to incompetence. Scheduled 4th visit next week. Service contact won't install rodent repelling tape because it would void warrantly - I have no idea how to do this. Would really appreciate some assistance and support from Hyundai.

Not a good start with the vehicle needing to be towed from the driveway with multiple codes rendering it unable to drive. Hybrid system failures.

Lemon Law!!!

Our Tucson has been at the dealership’s repair shop longer than we’ve had it! The cluster display and infotainment system goes black while driving. And when it was on, which wasn’t often, all the dummy lights are on. This car is unsafe and doesn’t support any confidence in the brand! We’ve been extremely upset with our purchase!!!

The best features don't work.

First thing, I overpaid for my car. It was advertised to get 35 mpg. I got worst gas mileage than my RAV-4. They discovered the Hybrid part wasn't turned on. I still only get about 31 mpg. It's worse on the highway, but better in the city than my other car. The heads-up display keeps turning off. The dashboard will display all the sensors lights for some reason - intermittent issue. Occasionally, I'll come out and the fan is running - it's like the car is turned on in accessory mode. So many things wrong with this car. I got a lemon and I don't know how to get out of it since I overpaid for it. I was told it retains its value better than Toyota now - it lost $10,000 in value in the first week. I'm stuck with it.

Love the car but it broke down after a month

We test drove all the SUVs in the class and chose the Tucson due to its size, comfort, and drive experience. We average about 38 MPGs with this hybrid. Being able to start the car remotely from the app is pretty cool and we use it often to cool down the car before driving. The issue is after only 1300 miles and a month of ownership, the car broke down. It has been at the dealership waiting for a replacement battery for 31 days now. The dealer was able to give us a loaner while we wait for the repair. Hopefully they will be able to repair it soon or we will have to look at pursing a lemon law claim and have Hyundai buy it back. We do love the car -- when it was working that is.

Terribly disappointed

I owned a 2014 Santa Fe that never required unscheduled maintenance even at 80 thousand miles. So I knew I had to buy another Hyundai vehicle. The 2025 Tucson has now been in for repairs totaling 15 days and is still there. The screen (instrument cluster) went completely black, including the speedometer. They replaced the screen with a new one and it went black again after 100 miles. I’d really like to get a reliable car like the Santa Fe was for 11 years.

Love the car but service is a total run around

My car got hit in the parking lot. I'm having trouble with the GPS. Nothing but total run around! Dealer says go back to collision center, collision center says my problem does not have to do with repair, person who sold the car says she can schedule service but has nothing more to to with the car, service manager says I need to be educated on how to work the GPS!!! I am somehow going to try to reach someone in the corporate office! I NEED help dealing with a 48,000.00 I bought!!! My only son committed suicide on September 14, 2022. I CAN NOT deal with the level of stress this car is putting on me!!!

Most frustrating vehicle I've ever driven

Between the invasive technology features like the take a break warning and almost forced need to use the steering assist to avoid those warnings like literally every 5-10 minutes when you're on the highway especially around construction zones to the fact that you can't lift the windshield wipers to wash the windshield to the fact that if there's any snow on the windshield the windshield wipers just stopped working or stutter because they can't cut through the weight of the snow I guess to the fact that there's no spare tire anymore and we live in a rural area where there's no chance of getting any kind of reasonable roadside assistance to the data sharing BS of the Blue Link system this is overall the worst vehicle I've ever driven or owned

Broken Dashboard System

Within 30 days of owning this vehicle, the dashboard system has completely failed. Service to replace has taken more than a month with no resolution in sight. This is a massive and critical failure and an unfortunate situation for new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid owners.
